Found a bogus charge on my VISA account and it listed this number.  Apparently my account was charged for some unordered merchandise.  When I attempted to call this number there was no answer.  Number was listed to "TVMONSTER.COM".  Internet search revealed that this number is listed to several dozen bogus companies, tvmonster is just one of them, who engage in ID theft and NOT sending ordered merchandise.  Company is located in Canada and is a front for Chinese scamming.  Your only recourse is to contact your card-holding vendor and stop payment on this fraudulent company.

I got taken too. I ordered a set of dvd's of an old t.v. show and the quality was very poor. It was a 30 dvd set and out of the first 15 that I tried to play, only 7 played. I tried to contact TVDVDMania.com, where I'd ordered the dvds, through their web site 4 times for a refund with no reply!! Got the credit card bill in the mail and it was charged to TVmonster. I called my credit card company, explained what was going on and they took it off my statement.

Got taken big time by this company and if you read complaints.com about this company that is tied to this number (note ~ you can NOT find an address for this company anywhere) and merchandise was promised and NEVER delivered.  I am contacting my bank tomorrow and changing my account now that they have my information!  No call from this company but would not recommend anyone ordering from this company EVER!  Sad thing is they are also found on Yahoo and Amazon, both!

They screwed me too.........got the DVD's but they were of poor quality.  Called the number in Richmond bc....but they won't give an address so that I can return them.  Visa won't reimburse till you make an attempt to send pkg back.....so I tried sending to Richmond BC anyway.  Just have approximate location and name of street. Proof of attempt will reimburse my credit card.  Had to change that too after reading this page of complaints!!
Can't someone alert Yahoo and Amazon to these idiots before they get other peoples money?

Great, I also got screwed with this bogus company.  I haven't even received my order yet (3 weeks).  They managed to get my money immediately though.  I've e-mailed them twice now and no reply.  I'm glad I'm not alone in this mess.

I'll gladly report them if I knew who to contact.  Maybe Google, MSN, etc. since this is how we all found the site for this so called business.  I wonder if there is a business ethics committee in BC.

Looks like I'm another victim in the scam.  I ordered a 6-disc series from TVDVDMania.com and they never came.  After reading all of these e-mails, I'm in the process of contacting a lawyer friend of mine in Burlington.  Hopefully he'll be able to give me some insight as to how they can be stopped.

I to fell victim to this "company".  I purchased a box set of DVDs and have not received them.  I have sent several emails through their customer service line and have not had any responses.  I just sent and email to the Better Business Bureau in Vancouver to see if there is any recourse.

Sam......just dispute the charge on your credit card.  I don't think these guys will be coming back with a counter dispute withen the Visa time frame of 30 days.  Get that charge reversed and then put in for a new Credit card number.  I wouldn't trust them with the old one.

Wow.I, too, am apparently a victim of this company. I ordered a set of old TV shows and they never arrived, though my credit card was promptly charged. Moreover, and scarier, is the fact that around the same time this happened, someone hacked into my PayPal account and helped themselves to $196, which came out of my checking account and resulted in overdrafts and accompanying charges. Fortunately my bank reversed them all (I have never been overdrawn in my life until this happened) but it is really frightening. Just a warning, if your credit card is in any way attached to your PayPal account, please keep an eye on it! Thanks to everyone for posting about this company. I will call my bank as soon as they open and ask them to reverse the charges for TVMonster.

Same here. Took well over the estimated shipping date to recieve order and it was a shoddy bootlegged version of the product.

I ordered DVD's from TVDVDMania.com on December 26, 2008. Have yet to receive them but sure enough the charge is on my credit card. I have attempted to contact them by email three times but have not gotten any return response. In their FAQ questions they say that their emails may be going into the Spam folders so I kept an eye on that, too but haven't seen anything. I will be calling the credit card company and contacting the Better Business Bureau. I wonder if local T.V. stations would air the complaints. They used to do that where I live. I will be checking into that, also.

Same here. Took well over the estimated shipping date to recieve order and it was a shoddy bootlegged version of the product.  My DVD's freeze up all the time.  The scammed them from Direct TV.  I did receive an email finally back from tvmonstercs@gmail.com signed by a person name Jake, They asked how old is my DVD player and also check if it works on my computer. That is not the problem they pirated the DVD's.

I reversed the charges on my credit card.....Notified Amazon about advertizing their link and what was happening...........and WOW!!!! This so called "Randy" from TVMonster e-mails me and says he will be refunding my credit card and I do not have to return the product.  So now, I have a reverse charge from the bank and an additional credit on my account.  Don't know why they bother..but maybe their is a hint of respect there somewhere.

I too have ordered from tvdvdmania.com as well and have gotten nowhere as to where my movies are. I am employed with Citi and I just called into my customer service and they closed my account and gave me a new account number. They will also send me an affidavit to fill out with the fraudulent charge on my bill. Then I would have to mail it back with a copy of my bill with the circled fraudulent charge and they will reimburse my bill. Just thought this would help you all. Just call your credit card company and they will refund the charge and you will not be liable for it. At least with Citi anyway.

If they are selling bootlegs, report them to the MPAA as well.

I also purchased dvd sets from them through a link on Amazon.com. I did receive my discs from China of all places & they are either pretty bad quality or lots of defective unwatchable discs (77 SS set). After trying to email & calling with no success, I've disputed my charge thanks to all of you. Good luck to all.

Do you really believe that Amazon does not know?  I find that very hard to believe
I to have been taken and I did not even order anything!!
They have my card number to my credit union account.

Has anyone been charges more than once, or do they just bill you and then bail out?
