I also have received a call from this number....
If you live in Canada, you can report this number to the Do Not Call Registry....
You can also register your land line number (and your cell phone number) with this agency.
I was quite pleased at the number of calls that stopped after registering.
Only charities call now. Should you not want them to call you, please ask them to remove your name from their calling list....they are happy to oblige....

Hope this helps any Canadians who have written in and are frustrated with telemarketers and other unwanted calls...
I googled the number, found it was coming from the greater Vancouver, B.C. area, and therefore it is reportable. In Canada.....

For all of our American neighbours, I am sorry that you must endure such harassment. Perhaps your government could be lobbied to set up something similar.....

I received this call while I was away, and they left me a bizzare message.  There was creepy music followed by a hello?

Now it is 12:55 pm,  so they might call few times past 5:00 pm. I never answer, but the weird thing is that my message machine should pick up after the 4Th ring and it doesn't so it rings several times before stopping. It is a kind of ring that maybe is not recognized by the phone device, consisting of two short rings little faded comparing with the normal ring, I don't even come close to anwer because I know it is them by the sound.

I hope they disappear.

This number called my "pay and talk" cell phone...I didn't answer the call, but there was a message left on voicemail, playing music, and it wasn't even good music...  
IT'S a FREAKIN' PAY AND TALK PHONE....my name isn't even attached to it...whoever it is needs to figure out how to make a proper intelligible phone call.

Tired of this crap why should people be able to harass us like they do.

They called my cell today for the first time. Never seen the number before and so I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message so I don't know who or what they wanted.

These idiots probably don't say anything just to peak your curiosity enough to get you to call them, so they can pump you for information. They may think you are somebody who you're not. If it's a collection agency, they'll harass you relentlessly..

They have been phoning here regularly.
I have now call blocked the number.

this is CBV collections.....any way to block them from calling ur cell phone? im about to call telus mobility and change my number :) they call me at 7:30am and throughout the day.....get the hint already im NOT gonna answer and talk to u! im dealing with debt management and they have been told to call them back not me, so STOP CALLING........

Careful they are using a new phone number now.

It is 1-778-328-9902.  They called me 5 times today within 3 minutes of each other and four times two days ago.

i do not know who these people are and do want want any more calls.

Wow I jus read sun of these posts!! U never look up numbers but this number calls my house phone
No one has my house number n it's not even in my name so I know it's not for me!
They call everyday all day it's crazy n when I try to wait to talk to someone they hang up!

They call my pay-as-you-go cell phone at least 20 times a day & have been for the past year. And I can't even answer it to tell them to bugger off because I refuse to pay the long distance fees to do so. I do know its a collection agency (from the weird messages they leave), but where they get their info I don't know cause it seems from everyone's posts that they only call people who DON'T owe them $ (& I sure don't). Stop calling me!!!

Does anyone know what company this # belongs to so we can all start complaining to the Better Business Bureau of BC?

I'm sure they'd be interested to know this company is harassing people who never owed them $!!!

This number keeps calling - when I answer it says please wait for the next available agent for an urgent business matter. I waited more then 20  minutes on hold without any agent answering so I hung up.
