    This number has called me 3 times in the last hour, it is almost 9pm here, clearly it's not a legitimate call at this hour. Not to mention I'm in Toronto and do not have an HSBC account or have ever used one of their banks.

    Just received a call from 778-452-2340.  It was an HSBC mortgage specialist calling about my upcoming mortgage renewal.  He did not ask for any personal information and had knowledge of my HSBC mortgage.  I am in BC and he was able to provide a call back number and an email address.
