This call is illegal and intrusive, since this is similar to the Facebook employment scam from www.wivb.com. They want your personal info and credit card number over the phone or email. Here are some links to stop this organized crime.:

I did the same as you (only my lead-in message mentioned Air Canada). I got price details and a website (www.cancuncalling.com) with access code to enter and see my offer. It's US$698 for 2 adults and 2 children at the Ocean Spa Hotel in Cancun for 5 nights plus 4 nights in Orlando. Just have to arrange own flights and pay room taxes plus $59 booking fee. Once you get past the original age and CC verifier ( I never gave them my number), the next person was very professional and polite. My cell phone connection was lost well into the call, so I'm not sure at what point they would've asked for my CC info, but they even said to call my CC company after to verify the name and US$698 "one-time charge" that would appear from Ocean Spa Hotel in the name "Tropical Travel".

It sure sounds like a scam to me, but a disgruntled visitor to this resort mentioned the same deal in his TripAdvisor review, so maybe the offer is legit. Is there an OFFICIAL website that investigates these offers and reports on the fraudsters?

Another number is 604-304-9898.  Tried calling the number and a machine said "this number is no longer in service"

(778) lists as a BC area code.  Since it is a Canadian number, it falls under CRTC rules that state:

17.  A telemarketer initiating a voice telemarketing telecommunication shall provide the following            information in a clear manner upon request:

  a) a voice telecommunications number that allows access to an employee or other representative of   the telemarketer for the purpose of asking questions, making comments about the     telemarketing telecommunication, or making or verifying a do not call request; and

  b) the name and address of an employee or other representative of the telemarketer to whom the      consumer can write for the purpose of asking questions, making comments about the     telemarketing telecommunication, or making or verifying a do not call request.

Wow Just for you to know i did the same thing but I di pay and went on the vacations they were great! Sure you did neeed to go to the presentation but if you do not ask questions an can say no the savings for my family were great.  We also went snorkeling an to the ruins an we paid a lot less then some others.  For us this helped us go on a needed vacation that we would not have tqken otherwise
