I run a busness in Mjaw and got a call on Jan 24-12, was not in and no message was left

This number called my business on January 26th, 2012.  I spoke with a guy named "Nicholas Erikson".  He was inisting on speaking with someone that does not work here.  When I asked him questions about why he was calling he was very rude.  Definitely a scammer.  Claimed the company name was MKM.

Called business phone, left no message.

I got a call from this number also. I called back got a busy signal raised a red flag so i did more reasearch and found out it belongs to Cedar Publishing. How many times is this uncreditable business going to change their phone number? Any legit business would not have so many diffrent numbers. SCAM ARTISTS!!!!

Company claiming to be CMK wanting to speak to the business owner. who was not in at the time. i told them to call back in a month when the business owner got back. They called the very next day same guy and i called him on it. He said his name was tyrell and it was about advertising concerns. A senior associate and myself took a look and found this page. TOTAL SCAM

Caller was selling space in childfinder magazine. I have told them to stop calling before. This is not a charity; their magazine is crap - re-runs of old press releases plus adds from a variety of unsuspecting business.  The only exposure a business gets from this type of ad is to the inside of garbage cans. Maybe if the gullable would stop sending them their $300 ad fees, these scam calls would stop.

Wanted to know the name of the owner of the business, said she was putting together a magazine to find missing children, and that it wouldn't cost anything.

Just received a call  march 6/2012 display says main hd of-she wanted the owner of the business,I told her he does not work in the shop she said she would try back.I am sorry was the message not clear!!!!!

Received a call twice from this place at our repair shop. Both times they refused to talk to me, co-owner, and insisted they speak to my husband. Both times it was a female who got her back up when I started asking questions as to where she was calling from (so my husband could call her back) so if she was a telemarketer, I could tell her to remove us from her list. Both times she hung up on me.

I'm pretty tired of rude and ignorant telemarketers.

SCAM and rude telemarketers!!!! Hang up when you get a call from them or they will just raise your adrenaline! How can we stop this!

Got a call also to sell me advertising> First question I asked was "are you with Cedar publishing" she would not give me a straight answer!!! I asked her if she was affiliated in ANY way to" CEADAR PUBLISHING" and again dodged the question!! She asked me who this company  was.that i was talking about......I told her because of "CEDAR PUBLISHINGS" past dealings we do NO advertising oover the phone!!! (caller id was  -" MAIN HD OF"

This number called today and asked for the owner by name (who happens to be my mom). I said she wasn't available and if I could help her. She said she would call back. So I asked her to leave a message. Again, she said no and would call back. So, I said "Well to be honest Suzie screens her calls, which is why I'm asking you to leave a message". Her response "So she IS available then?". I said, "No she isn't here today but when she IS here she is busy so she screens her calls. If you don't leave a message, don't expect to speak with her." The woman from this number just said "I'll call back another time". The call display was Main of HD

Got a call from 780-701-3727 and the guy was looking for "the boss."  I screen every phone call, asking him what it was about.  The guy was totally evasive and rude.  A wonder anybody does business with them.

Thanks for the info...I just got a phone call from this number and they refused to leave a message or let me know what there call is about.  You can bet the next time they call will not be so nice!  :)

Totally pushy advert sales man.  They try to come across as a non-profit benefiting missing children but they are not at all.  Won't you PLEASE think of the children?!!  

Told him we weren't interested in buying ad space but would consider their company for our annual charitable donations and they would not accept donations OR refer me to a child-find group that would take our donations.  

Definite SCAM.

Got a call today from 780-701-3727.  Lady on the phone was upset because she was put on hold - after being told she would be.  She would not leave any message, said she would call back later.  Legitimate businesses don't mind telling you what they are looking for!

Caller came up as "MAIN HD OF" in Alberta.  Programming it into my phone along with all the other junk calls that I get, day after day.

Called me at work. Was a person selling ad space in Missing Kids Newspaper for an edition due out Feb 2013. Business card sized add about $250.00. Phone number area code and description of service and company name seem to match http://missingkidsnews.com/   I had no interest as I've never heard of or seen the paper.

The caller mentioned our business name and asked for me by name. Where do they get this info?
