Called twice think with no message left

Every day same routine, calls twice and one time my fiance picked up. I forgot about that and when I googled the area code his exact number came up!!! This story matches ours. Why has nothing been done about this?

Got a call from this number on my cell.  Any time I get a call I don't recognize I let it ring until the voice mail picks up.  If they don't leave a message or if they do and it's someone I don't want to talk to - they go on my blacklist, which is what happened here.  After that the phone hangs up on them and they don't even get to leave a voicemail.

Fraud calls attempting to assist with listed car sale

We have a car on Craigslist. I sure appreciate this website and all the heads up! I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

I just received a call from this number. I listed my car on Craigslist last week. My cell number and work number are two in the same, so I usually answer with the business name. All i heard was an automated female voice that said "Good-Bye". And to anyone who thinks spelling the number our makes it safe, sorry to say that is wrong. I spelled my phone number out (i.e. five five five, one two three four) so its not a bot, it's a human. I did NOT include the physical digits of my number anywhere else in the ad, to avoid this scenario completely, but apparently scammers are sharper than ever. Glad I wasn't pestered about paying him to sell my car, yet in retrospect, what power does he secretly posses to get a car sold faster than anyone else? Like 200 dollars grants you access to his magical marketing powers allowing for your vehicle to get sold regardless of the title, without seeing the car first to know it's mechanically sound, etc? Yeah right buddy. I almost hope another scammer out there posts an ad selling a car, who pulls one over on this guy first. Not that fighting fire with fire ever solves anything, I just appreciate karmic irony.

From a caller with a very thick accent wanting to list my truck for sale with his company. Yes, I've advertised on Craigslist.

These jerks are calling my cell for an that apparently has my cell number on it.

I also just got a call from this number asking to help sell my car on CL.  Told him I did not need help and hung up.

This [***] calls me twice a day and every time I answer, they just hang up. What is the reasoning in this, get a life man!!!

These people are scammers, also getting text messages on craigs list. Working on an oil rig... can't call... want to pay you full price,   on pay pal...   Don't  bother returning their calls

Same here. Lmao. From emails to phone calls.  Can't call in the army.....but can email? Lmao. Craigslist scams. Craigslist needs to tighten up security. If they don't then be shut down for accommodating terrorist. Wich is exactly who runs these scams.
