ditto to much of the previous info found here....car on craigslist,charlotte,nc, call baack, w/o answer..suspect some kind of con game....craigslist warns about NOT giving out any bank info,  about phony buyers that will pick up vehicles with a cashiers check but the check will be found later to be invalid,  even after your bank accepts it....I think the Feds need to be called on this   this is too widespread...there is probbly some who have been victimized....

This number continually calls me for 3 weeks.  I no longer answer as no one ever spoke when I previously answered it.  This was after I posted a car for sale on Craig's List, but it has been sold and the ad removed for over a week.  I initially messaged the number to tell them to stop calling, but got a message back that it is a lan line and would cost to send them a message.  Any help to get this stopped would be greatly appreciated.

This is a company that prays on people who list their cars for sale to try and scam them.  I see a lot of posts here that state when they answer the call, no one is there.  That is because these scammers are using a dialer to make these phone calls.  There is a delay between the time the call is answered and the agent is put on the line as the dialer needs to recognize that the call is connected.  That is why they also never leave a message in voice mail or an answering machine. It is probably a call center somewhere. Unfortunately, I could not get the name of the company before I was disconnected, but the man had a very thick accent, I believe it was Indian.  Don't fall for anything they say, there are a bunch of companies out there doing this now. It is unfortunate that it is becoming impossible to honestly sell your own vehicle.....

Same thing..posted an ad on Craigslist and got this crap....also requested that my email was not to be used but I am getting those too... Craigslist is a joke.

Craigslist is no longer as valuable a resource as it used to be.  Only good for Escorts, Happy endings, and furniture.  Whenever these lowlifes call you, simply answer the phone.."FBI Internet Fraud Taskforce, Your call is being recorded".

FBI can technically be referred to as "Finding Bogus Individuals", you're not implying you're a Law Enforcement Official.

Your number will be deleted from their files, and scare the crap out of them.

They're breaking the law by not adhering to the Craigslist Terms of Usage Agreement where it states NOT to solicit your info for commercial purposes. They are subject to fines for each occurrence, it's up to you to report them..

Yeah I just got a call from this number at 11:59 am 4/18/13 called back and it was not working number and I too have just put my car on craigslist this is so annoying

Unwanted call from 783-962-1224.  We are on the Do Not Call list.  Recently put a listing on Craigslist for a car we are selling.  Based on other comments, I suspect this is where they sourced our information.

continues to call and hang up, sometimes a rude Arab male asking about car for sale. (I have nothing for sale) 47 calls from Monday until Thursday. Number is blocked when I try to return call

I continue to get phone calls from area code (783) from phone number 783-962-1224. When I call back, it's a number that can't be called back.

Agree with a previous poster about messing with them. They are asking $199 to post your car on multiple sites and guarantee the sale within 60 days or your money back. I managed to increase the price of my car by 20% and cut the cost of service in half. But then I had to tell him I wasn't interested because he wanted to send me to marketing and I only wanted to talk to him. But then I told him I didn't think he was motivated enough because he just kept asking questions and kept wanting to talk to his manager.
So go ahead and answer and have fun.

I too had a truck for sale on Craiglist but I had already sold it they offered $ 5000.00 and never seen it she also was Indian or Spanish by the name Sandra Barton .

Lady with Indian accent, hard to understand called in reference of the car I had on craigslist.  She was ready to send someone to the door to pick up the car.  Said funds for asking price will be transfered to my bank. She just needed all the info.  OHHHH OK.  Click.  I called the number back and it is a non working number.  Go figure.  Atlanta Ga

i just posted an ad on craigslist and received a call from this number 20 min after posting and have received one every 30 min since and the phone company's cant block it 5/21/13
