when called back,it did not ring

Quite amusing call from a male caller, sounded like the queen's, not american. Also sounded Indian or middle eastern and claimed to be with a third party technical support company calling on behalf of Microsoft. He claimed to have knowledge of MS Windows services that were stopping and starting on my PC. First I attempted to get him to give me his name, company, street address, and a direct phone number to call him back, he continued to question me. I then asked him for the specific services he had called about and instead stated that he was not in my PC or a hacker. Told he that I knew there was nobody in my PC and if I had any problems with my install of Windows that I would simply wipe it and do a clean install to fix it. Told him I build computers and didn't need any help. Ask that he email all the details and I would call him back. This a form of hacking called social engineering which requires nothing more that you giving the hacker the information he needs to get into you PC and/or network. I gave him nothing and he got nothing. Be careful not to share your information inadvertently with strangers because you do not know what they a going to do with it.

They called and said my computer needed to be updated and they could do it for $345.00 ... I told them I knew they were a scam and hung up ... I called the number back and I got a busy signal.

Keeps calling in Spanish at Times. Then will text, does no good to report no one does anything. I've reported so many still get, why?

A Pakistani male called from this number. He did not state where or with whom he was call from. I immediately asked to be removed from his calling list, he insisted that I listen to what he has to say. I repeated, please remove me from your calling list.  He went on to say that you/I have some technical...... for the last time I asked again to be removed from the call list. He started with. . . but you don't understand. That's when I just hung up on him.  What do we have to do to have these calls blocked?

CID said Miami Fla. on my landline. Yesterday got a call. Addressed me by correct name. Said he was calling about my computer. I replied "B---S---" and hung up

keeps calling about 3 to 4 times a day, when you answer there is a silent then they hang up, is annoying

Missed the call. Blank voicemail message. Blocked my caller ID & called back. Got a recording of a perky woman's voice thanking me for calling back. I was instructed to press 1 to ne removed from their list if I believed I was called in error. Press 2 to schedule a callback. No identification whatsoever. Only button I pressed was the disconnect call button...then I blocked the number.
