Seriously? No student loans for decades and these scum telemarketing people robo call. Where is law enforcement when you need them? Oh, stalking everyone rather than nailing white collar criminals.

Got a call from them today, don't know anyone from Homestead Florida, so I came here to see if they are scammers or should I call them back... Decided just to block them so hopefully they will lose my number.

I also keep getting calls from these scammers. A Recorded message saying something like "are you in debt with student loans?"  Press 1 if yes or press 9 to forfeit. If you press 9 it will say that you will be removed immediately. A search shows this number to be from Miami, Florida. WE NEED ENFORCEMENT ON THE LAWS ALREADY IN PLACE, but the law enforcement agencies specified to handle these types of crimes are too busy doing other things. LIKE WHAT ? They have an agency specified to handle these types of crimes just drawing a pay check doing nothing as every other federal agency does. The only thing they do is make up more excuses as to why they can not ( WILL NOT ) do their job that our tax dollars pay them to do. LETS FIRE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, as they work for us WE THE POEOPLE........

I thought I was done with these calls UGH! Apparently not! They just called my cell.  I didn't answer of course because of the weird number, but they always leave voicemails asking me to call them to eliminate my student loan debt! NO IS NO!! Why can't they understand that word?????

Total scumbags. I have asked to be taken off of the list many times. I block them and they call from different numbers, all out of Florida. I have no student loans. They don't care.

    Me too!!!
I have gotten these calls several times in the last month. I finally took the call & pressed 1. An Indian-sounding guy answered, & I told him remove my #. Explained to him I retired 8 years ago, & NEVER had a student loan.

I've used the block caller feature on both my phone and the telephone company (Mediacom) and I've run out of slots on both.  Both of them only allow 10 numbers.  With these clowns using multiple numbers, it eats them up fast.  Any suggestions on how to expand the number of callers that can be blocked.  My home phone allows about 3500 numbers to be listed in the phone book, you'd think you could use up some of that space for blocked calls.  Who has 3500 friends and family on their home phone.

There are phones out there that will block hundreds of numbers and third party boxes that will block thousands.

As to the 3500 comment, I'm with you. Give me 100 slots for a phonebook and 3400 for blocking.

Here are two pages of links to (mostly government) sites in Canada and the USA were you can report phone scams, or learn more about them.

First, look elsewhere on this site for an Article, entitled "Where to Report Phone Crime".  (It may appear in the column to your right).

For a more frequently updated list of complaint sites, with links to government web pages, look here:

The phone itself or the carrier can aid in offering more blocking services.  For example, Sprint is my carrier and their website allows for text and voice blocking as well as the phone can easily block calls or texts as well.  I use the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and the unit makes it so easy to block these time wasters.  When will we, the innocent  have rights in this country?  It dumbfounds me that here we are paying for services and these commercials are impeding on our privacy, using texts and calls that we pay for each month..go figure?
