Received a call today. Robotic voice claiminh that my social security number will be suspended unless I chose 1 on the keypad to talk with a representative. Thank you everyone for confirming this is a scam and I will let others know about this.

The 068 prefix looked so suspicious, I didn't even bother answering.  After reading the comments here, I'm glad I didn't waste my time doing so.

Scam Call. Fake phone number. India and Africa are full of scammers. That's all they do all day long!
They left the message "Good Bye".

Yeah I got call and left message too 800 068 1111 . Said they from social security . They did know Im on welfare so I told them go ahead cut the social security....lol

This is the number where the message originated from 1-800-068-1111.

Administration department we are just leaving.  This pre-recorded message is to notify you that we have got an order to suspend your social media on immediate basis because your social has been found position for set illegal activities in New York State.  It's very time sensitive and urgent that I do hear back from you before we proceed with the suspension of your social and assets.  please press 1 to speak to the officer.  I repeat please press 1 to speak to the office right away.  Thank you.

Received the VM saying my social was being suspended and to wait for an officer to get on the line

Pretending SSN administration and DEA. Told that there are allegations against me on drugs and money laundry crimes and asked to withdraw money from my bank and send them somehow.

Received a called from someone pretending to be an SS administrator.  When I asked for the phone number they were calling from they insist that I give them my ssn so they could look things up in the system.  It sounds like an official call but it is not.  THIS IS A SCAM CALL.

Called my cell phone (I don't answer numbers that I don't recognize) and a woman left this voice mail: "Goodbye."

800-068-111 called saying I would lose my social security because they suspected me of a scam, something to that effect, to press 1 now to talk to them, then they tried to get my name, when I tried to question them I was disconnected

Said I needed to talk to an officer  regaurding my ss being used for illegal activity in my state I presed 1to do so and couldnt understand a word the man said.

Got the call 5/3/2019.  With the volume of the calls, it's scary to contemplate how many people will get scammed, even if it's only 1 in 10,000.

I fell for this scam today... threats and all! 😕 The caller insisted that I do not hang up and said they're calling from Social Security Administration in Maryland. I admit that it sounded like a scam because I asked Frank Davis ID# 12020K, 'What government agency called you and says they're going to report you to the FBI and you'll go to jail?' 🤨 Unfortunately, now they probably have my REAL information! 🙄😣😒

I received a call from : 1-800 068 1111.
A recorded message stated that my social security benefits will be suspended due to fraudulent activity and the possibility that someone has stolen my number. It stated for me to press 1 to speak to an officer. So, like a dummy, I press one and figure, I will get their information and report them to SSI. I get a foreign speaking female on the line, I ask her for her name and she provided me an obvious fake name and so I ask her why she is calling me. And then she starts insulting me with profanity, non stop. I was stunned and started laughing and she disconnected the call.
What has this world come to.

You’d think whom ever is doing all this would at least realize by now, our country views them as a joke. If they’d put this energy in toward curing cancer, they’d have all the cash they ever wanted. I weep for our planet...
