I got a folded letter as you all have described.  It has a check attached to it as well.  The return number is 888 657.2283

I got the same letter number 8886694148. Glad I looked it up Same address too

Any communication received by US mail which appears fraudulent, should be taken down to the local post office so that the postal
inspectors can take a look at it. This could be some form of  mail fraud.  Clearly scamming.

Also received an official looking letter and check from 2000 Pennsylvania ave Washington dc 20006..The program says credit card assistance program

I doubt that is a real check, but if it is,there is probably small print on it somewhere telling you that if you cash it you have signed up for something.  Take the letter, check, and the envelope it came in to the post office and have them forward it to the postal inspectors.

I have also received one of these letters. It was very official .I could have been caught in the scam. Ho Ho you guys did not get me. I researched the phone attached and it did not match any government agency. Try again.

I've received a letter for debt consolidation with a check in the amount of $12,000. Sure does look real.  But I know better. These people need to be stopped! ASAP!!! My heart breaks for anyone who falls victim to these type of scams.......
