Automated call, does not ask for anyone specific, makes it sound like a name should have been in their message but ommitted, then they request you call 800-232-1258.

They have a variation to this automatic call, where the caller says "I have great results for you" call me Craig Smith, or Jenny Smith, but always a request for me to call them.  Joker's how stupid do they think people are.

Someone Named Jennifer called and asked me to call and gave me a reference number.  Didn't leave a company name.  Not sure what she wanted..

The company is ARS National.  It's a collection agency.

It is definitely a collection agency. my mother has horrible credit and the guy "junior" refused to give me the company name and the i found it here

Harrassing calls from this company calling for my ex-husband. Have had to threaten legal action for them to stop calling. Same with JP Morgan Chase and others. Not my bills.

is this a collection agency? i have no idea...i don't have unpaid bills but i keep getting a call saying to call back to this number...does anyone know what company this is?

Collection agency Phishing for "live" answers; Shows up in caller ID for "Cary     NC" and is a local number; computer asks for "name" to hold. A collector then answers and when pressed gives that he is with ARS National and to have "name" call back at 1-800-232-1258 xt 1257.

This is referenced for thi local number also- BTW great database! I use a phone with a mute button to put them on hold, and pop the number in the database for a fast look see- used to do it with reverse phone search on the "other book site". This site gives so much more info!

ARS identified themselves and said they had to talk about a private business matter.  Definitely a collection agency.  I suggest you don't call back unless you want to mess with their heads.

Called my private cell number. most of my immediate family don't have this cell number. I want to report them to the bbb.

They called saying to return call, to 1-800-232-1258, her name is Qubec, she states a Bond number, then almost non-understandable say this can ARS, sounding like can lead to arrest. Had to listen several times then found this site, and it clarified for me.

ARS has called me on numerous occasions, i didnt ck msgs for over a month and the msgs were TERRIBLE this guy left. he said some very unprofessional things. I called back HOT!! and let him have it. The "debt" is not mine. The name only matches PART of my last name (i have hypenated last name)
the guy said he would remove my number.

that was a few months ago....
well today i get another call!! same gentleman, named DJ.
called him back, he suggested i change my telephone number...his story is that someone randomly used my number on their credit report and the name "happened" to match....

anyway, went to their site and sent a request to have my telephone number removed. I received this response for anyone who might want to use this contact info:

"Anthony" called my parents house and left a message for my ex-boyfriend (he has never lived at my parents house) or me to call back at 1-800-232-1258 x1073 and he also left a "file number." My ex and I never had any loans together so I don't understand why they would be calling my parents, I haven't lived with them in over 5 years, or provided their phone number to any loan or lien. I emailed them at ARSNational.com, I wonder if that will do anything???

Should not receive collection calls at a professional working location!! Also, very aggressive!

Received a call at work location from Donna at ARS.  Pretty rude and would not specify what she wanted for person she was calling.  This is a professional office and is not to receive calls like this - do not call again.

Called my wifes cell phone claiming to look for me. It is a debt collector. I have had 2 strokes within 6 months. Recently discharged from a nursing home.

ARS collectors are requesting an amount of money immediately over the phone with no statement sent. They are making assesments and request payment to be done in an agressive way even when you tell them it is an identity theft case; they do not care to identify this cases, just asking for money with no evidence of a debt.

Wow, these guys are real Jerks.  I got a call today from 3 people, 2 family members, PLUS a business partner.  And they were trying to pretend like they were clients of my company trying to get ahold of me.  Said his name was Tyler Kenzy [Phone: 800-232-1258, ex: 1200], which when you try to call that extension, their system says it's not valid.  But I did get their fax# of 866-422-0765, and an address of: 960 S. Andreason Dr., Suite B, Escondido, CA 92026.
In each case, he tried to get them to give out personal info, such as phone number, how my business was doing, etc.  This guy is a real scum bag.  My Attorney is already sending out a Cease & Dessit notice.  And as soon as I track down Tyler's personal information, I'll be sure to post it up here for all to see!

They are a collection agency. I worked at a different agency for five years. ARS break laws left and right. Everyone should read the FDCPA and learn their rights. I have a lot of debt that I have fallen behind on. So, now I have an account placed with ARS. I talked to them for the first time on Friday. They don't effect me quite the same because I've been on their end of the phone. but! There is no excuse for breaking the law or being threatening. I'm writing down the names of everyone I talk to, and if I get too sick of it, I'm suing them. The days are long gone when you can only go after the company. I'll go after the collector themselves.

It is not against the law to demand full payment or what ever amount they feel, but come on, some people honestly just don't have the money. There is no way I can pay 150 dollars a month on top of all of my other bills. And I can't pull the balance out of my ass. Sometime I laugh at the collectors I talk to because I know word for word what they're gonna say to me.
