Received a call from this number telling me my email account had been hacked into and many people were reporting problems coming from my account.  I told this person, that wanted more information about my service, that he needed to prove to me who he was.  He claimed he was from gmail and identified himself as Worrick.  He gave me  the phone number 1-800-274-8151 ext 113.  He told me to call right back and speak with technical support and they would help me fix everything.  He also said he would be calling me back in one minute.  Humm, that was pretty stupid.  How am I suppose to call and receive a call at about the same time.  He did have my email address which makes me rather nervous now, since the only person hacking my account seems to be him.

I received a phone call about 20 minutes ago, claiming someone has hacked into my email account and they have received several phone calls regarding it spam. The man claimed to be John, with Gmail tech support. He told me get to my computer quickly and he would help me fix the problem. John told me the hackers were out of Canada and China and soon they would be able to use my computer and have access to all its information. He did use my first name, can't recall if he used my last name. "John" told me to call him back at 1.800.274.8151 ext. 112. He had an Indian accent and sounded as though this was a very urgent situation.

I received a call from 845-582-1413 claimimg that there was an issue with my gmail account. He was able to tell me what my email address but not my name. He said he was calling on behalf of Gmail. He wanted me to follow his instructions to rid my computer of a malicious virus. He was the virus!! When I refused he transfered me to a senior technician who wanted me to allow him access into my computer. When I refused he offered me this phone number 1-800-274-8151 to call him back. He wanted me to ask for David and said he would be awaiting my call. Yeah keep waiting David.... Also both callers had very heavy Indian accents. This is a SCAM!!!!

I just received a call from 71204127245 and yes there is an extra digit in the number.  The guy said he was with Yahoo and that my email account was being hacked and being used in Texas and one other state.  He proceeded to ask me to log onto my computer and I interrupted him and said I was not at home so I could not log on.  Then he said to call them back when I get home at 1-800-274-8151.
What is up with these people?

They had accents and claimed to be working for yahoo, my email provider.  This all happened last night, It was late, so I went online and checked them out this morning.

Unfortunately, they wouldn't take a credit card.  They wanted my bank account routing and account number and check no.  Which I stupidly gave them.  I reported them to my bank who is trying to help me.  I sure hope they catch these guys who prey on the computer illiterate, like me.

I Got a call and actually stayed on the line with two people. they showed me a couple of good things on my computer that is didn't know about. But they also fed me something that I looked up and found out was a lie! At the end of the call the woman Angel Brown stated she would help me fix my computer and gave me three options I could choose from. I told her I didn't have any money top pay for their services and she hung up.
I called the number back and they didn't even say their business name just asking if I could hear them. So I think I will ask more people about my computer or take to someone I trust.

Well "Craig", it sounds to me like the Indian frauds are getting extremely desperate & are now suffering Delusions of Grandeur. They've never been very bright & now malnutrition, and too much exposure to old American television programming, has sent them over the edge.
Oh and "Craig", I'm glad you made a post here. We weren't aware that the Indian frauds were calling their own countrymen. Tell me "Craig", was it a local call?
    Skeff Ett Liv!
