- GAThis number is unknown to me so I didn't answer. Caller left an automated message in voicemail stating that my iCloud account (which i do have) has been breached...press 1 to connect to Apple Support... (3rd time in the last 3 days from the same number). It seems from messages here and on other websites that they seem to be spoofing the real number for Apple Support.
- MM-Southern-CArobo message - your Apple Account compromised, etc. from ID (spoofed?) 800-275-2273, Applecare, a real Apple number. Not likely. All I have is an iTunes Windows version. Plenty of search hits show scam is out there with this MO.

- OliverReceived a computer-generated voicemail identifying AppleCare as the caller.
The voicemail claimed that my Apple ID had been compromised and asked me to call immediately.
When I called, the company was identified as "Support."
The first time I spoke to "Skyler." I was told that my Apple ID was being used in Russia. He asked if I had made any purchases recently or if I was traveling.
They asked me to turn on the computer and go to fastsupport.com. They pressured me by giving a sort of countdown about how far the Russian hackers had gotten into my account.
When I asked more questions, I was told again that the Apple server received a notification that "something is going wrong with customer Apple ID and IP address." The server "generated an automatic call" to me.
When I pressed for information while I was on the computer with the REAL Apple support, the call disconnected. He called back and said the phone had been disconnected. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He gave some grief about "if I was giving [him] a hard time or joking." I pretended indignation, saying I had never been treated so rudely and did not expect to be spoken this way by a representative of Apple, and asked to speak to a supervisor. The call disconnected.
I called back. Same message, same "Support" name given to identify the company. The representative told me to "stop doing all financial activity because my apple ID has already been accessed with my devices."
They said they needed to "install some security on my IP address, because my IP address is not secure at this moment."
Then they said I need to go to the closest grocery store and purchase an iTunes card and give them the security code.
The call appeared to originate from the number 800-275-2273.- Caller: Security

- Pissed ConsumerPretty obvious they are spoofing AppleCare's # in an attempt to appear legitimate. This call came to the phone at our vacation home, which is not a # we associate with ANY online account, except for the phone company. Obvious scam.
