- JackThis is a phishing scam. They ask you to enter the last four of your social. According to AT&T this is a scam. If you gave them any info call AT&T customers service and change your security code.

- LeahI did not answer. Message left saying my at&t mobile account is past due...I don't have an at&t mobile account. Scammers!
- Kasha replies to jamesI have too. When I pick it up they hang up. Been calling numerous times the last few days. Never leave a message. Very aggravating!
- NoSPAMmersReceived a call from this number today. SPAM!
- RwAt&t scam call saying your at&t account has been suspended and to press 1 to reactivate and 2 to speak to a customer service rep. Didnt do either. Called at&t to confirm nothing was wrong.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- JeffJust received a call from this number with a recording saying my AT&T wireless account has been suspended until they can verify something. I don't have an AT&T wireless account and am pretty sure whoever it was that called me just spoofed the number and was trying to get account information.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- JRJust received a call at work from this number which shows up on caller id as ATT. It's a recording of a female voice saying AT&T needs to speak to the account holder about an important issue with our phone number and then asks us to call a different phone number to speak to them about it. Clearly a phishing attempt, but a convincing one to many I'm sure.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- JoyJust called me and left no message. I just called ATT because the scammer is sending me texts too as ATT.

- phb2234Second call on landline today where CID shows up as AT&T. I answered it since I do have AT&T service. After a long pause when I said “hello”, a live person came on the line and identified himself as John Smith calling from AT&T/ Direct TV and said they were running a special “in your hometown” for $89.95 per month. Oddly, John had a distinct Indian accent. I said no thanks. I conclude that this was a phishing call that spoofed AT&T’s number.
Maybe if I tell the real AT&T that they’re being spoofed they’ll get interested enough to do something to stop the spoofer/scammers? Nah..- Call type: Scam suspicion
- MC ReporterBy the time I answered, their robocaller system must have been directed to someone who picked the call up before I did. Dead air like when you're on crappy hold, not dead air like an open line. Call disconnected on their end after a few seconds.
Bonus: I have zero AT&T services. Neither does my family.
I'm guessing that this is a phishing call if you actually talk to someone. Do NOT answer any of their questions. If you think it could be a legitimate call, hang up and call a number that you KNOW to be theirs.- Caller: dead air

- JRSame here, Robo call with no message, just the phone number. Standard practice for scammers! Never answer or return calls to Unknown numbers.

- pj"Toll Free" Id... I did not answer;;;. Interesting in that I do not have A T and T... appreciate info provided here as usual.
- Luci| 1 replyThanks to all the comments i was able to discern that the call was a sales call and dismissed it as such. 1-800-287-2020 showed only the number but they left a voice message on my cell phone telling me my service had been suspended and to press one to reactivate, i thought they were talking about my cell service but i was on my cell when the call came in so i knew it was bogus. Thank you for all the previous informative information.

- DannyY’all are dumb af. This IS NOT AT&T. Carriers will never call you and proceed to ask you security questions. This is a phishing scam to get your account details. This way, they can steal your identity, you money, your secure data, etc. This is why non- AT&T customers also get these called. They’ll change who they say they are mid-call. For those of you who gave info to these people- I hope to God it’s not too late to take action and save yourself.

- Ziki| 1 replyJust got two calls from this account that identified in Hiya as "Legacy Home Solutions" with an AT&T logo. I did not answer either, but the second call left a very choppy computerized voice message. All I could make out was something about reactivating my non-existent account. Not sure if this number still is associated with AT&T (seems to have been previously), but it is definitely being spoofed for scamming now.

- Ziki replies to ZikiSorry, the number is 800-288-2020. I skipped that step.
