- stacia replies to Dukesame and i agree - annoying
- ak replies to DukeYes, it's annoying. When you place an order online, you'd think they'd have the common sense to send e-mail instead.
- MAutomated order update regarding an order I did NOT place. Can't seem to get them to remove my number from someone else's account!
- Caller: Macy's
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JipThey do send an email informing you your order will arrive in multiple packages. Don't understand why a phone call is needed when an individual checks on their order status online anyway. If you order online you can be notified online too.

- It was Macy's Customer ServiceThough I too do not make a habit of answering calls from unknown callers...especially from those listed solely as TOLL FREE CALL, at least this one left me a detailed voicemail message. It was just Macy's Customer Service following-up r/e an order I had just placed. Macy's then called once again shortly thereafter, but with a different number; i.e., 1 (800) 937-8398 and caller ID displayed the call as TOLL FREE CALL and nothing more once again. This time I answered the phone. I am glad that Macy's does a good job following-up...cheers.

- CorrectionPlease be advised that the add'l number I had listed (within the body of my prior message) is erroneous, but is actually a 'good number' for my exterminator...heh...heh. The second Toll Free number from Macy's was inadvertently deleted...cheers

- ajkMacy's unnecessary call at 9:00am telling me my recent order will come in separate shipments. They already sent 3 emails yesterday, one for each shipment and a third saying they'll be sent separately. This extra call is just annoying and ridiculous overkill. I don't want to hear from Macy's so many times when I place an order. The tracking info by email is enough! Do not call buyers unless they don't have e-mail, yet then they would not have ordered online! What manager decided this was a good idea?!
- Caller: Macy's
- Sandy replies to DukeAbsolutely agree with Duke. I got the same message today even though I did not order anything from Macy.
- NJDa man asked if this was me and I responded 'no it's her daughter" he sighed really

- B-Edwards replies to JMillWhat if the number is being spoofed?
I think it is odd that there are posts here from 2012 to 2016... then nothing in 2017. One post in 2018. And the thread is quiet until now, 2021. I find that strange. I see posts were removed by Admin and that usually means Shills were about.
UPDATE: Admin removed the post I replied to, so I am guessing "Jmill" was another shill.
I would be very careful about calls from this number. Better to call Macys back yourself.
