- BOB| 2 repliesThey call on a Friday at 7:45pm. Wrong number.
The company needs to get its act together. - KiraI telecommute and my company is supposed to pay my phone bill. My company sent AT&T the check 2 weeks after the due date. AT&T calls every day starting at 1 week late until they get the check. No live person to talk to and say it's been paid already. This has happened 3 months in a row.
They don't even say who they are on Caller ID.- Caller: AT&T

- lucindaThey keep calling and hanging up! I'm on the phone now waiting to get a hold of somone and nothing. I've been on hold for 15 minutes already.
- Hater of AT&TCalls even after I paid my bill. I never answer. Even worse than Pacific Hell. I've had the same phone number for 18 years, the bill is rarely over $25 per month, and AT&T acts like I own them millions per month. Very rude customer service, particularly a little brat supervisor named "Mr." Santana, FS1679. They sent a patronizing propaganda letter stating they want to "help you manage your bill" by demanding payment in 15 days "after mailing" (never heard of Cal. Code Civ. Proc., I guess; this isn't a 15 day notice, it's 10 -- you have to allow 5 days for mailing), instead of 30 (which was never 30 it was about 21). How insulting. I do just fine. They just don't like that I'm willing to pay their 40 to 90 cent late charge and pay the bill every 2 months. They set the rules; I just use them. Now they want to add $5 plus 1.5% to everyone's "late" bill per month. That amounts to more than 25% interest per month. The Mafia would be proud. Screw AT&T. I'll change when I can. I don't pay Mafia interest.

- AT&T haterCorrection. AT&T now wants to charge $5.50 + 1.0% interest EACH month if you pay late and your balance is over $20. This means virtually EVERYONE will be paying $5.50 + 1% if you pay late. AT&T sucks.

- RWDon't know who it is never answered it when they call but I hope they do call me and catch me in I use to do collections and most times when they call to collect from me THEY usually hang up or I figure out a way to get one of them fired, I've done it before. So if it is AT&T I do owe them one month and make them wait to the end of there terms and then I pay it. I told them I am going to pay them like they took care of things for me when I transfered my phone. I bet THEY won't like it.
Anyway, I will write more when I pick up the cal one day!- Caller: ????
- FreakinIdiotGet a life A T & T
- gentletouch11440I just got a call from them too. How pathetic that AT&T has resorted to phone terrorism to harass you. No voice or even a recording. Just dead air. So I put my Cockatiels on, and let them chat with the pervert on the other end.
- CassieI pay for caller ID, and get "out of area" (not ATT). Refuse to call any # without appropriate identification. Called to pay bill, and just learned that ATT is moving to automated phone pay system. If you pay in the future via a "human", you'll be charged (?) $5. Take detailed notes of phone calls: verbal information may not be accurate -and/or- agreements may not hold. If critical, ask ATT to put agreement in writing.

- Get a clue and pay your bill! You aren't| 2 repliesYou want them to go away? PAY YOUR BILL! Don't make them out to be the bad guy! It's their job. Whether your bill is $25 or $500, you still need to pay it! If you consider for one moment that it's not all about you and that you are not the only person on earth, there are likely many others like you who fail to pay their bill. Add that up and that $25 turns into a whole lot more. And why should they treat you any different than the next person that owes $25? And if you are going to [***] about the length of time you are given to mail your check in...well my dear, you obviously know how to get ONLINE and run your mouth about at&t so figure out how to register to pay your bill online! PROBLEM SOLVED...no excuses left eh?
- pay your bill| 3 repliesOh, and by the way, collection agencies tend not to leave messages or at least leave very vague messages. WHY? Because they figure you probably don't want other people hearing a message about how you can't manage your finances responsibly. I guess they can always just leave a nice message and embarrass you but then you'd be complaining about that too and looking to sue them right? lol. Too funny.
You can make them wait for your bill. Sure ya can. Keep kidding yourself that you have the upper hand. They will just turn your service off. After all, it's not a necessity to have phone service. You don't need it. So if you don't pay your bill, then don't be surprised when you get turned off and then owe $300 to restart it. No other company is different. They all have their ways. You seriously think any company is just gonna let you NOT pay your bill? NOT SO MUCH! Get a grip already! - duh replies to pay your billAT&T has nothing better to do than respond like this.
- j| 1 replySo if this is AT&T why do they use a TOLL FREE CALL (caller id) and NEVER leaves a message or answers these calls? current with them and these calls keep coming in for a few months.

- DebbieAfter reading these posts I see it's a call from AT&T, my caller id stated "out of the area". They called and left a message for me with my full name and stated my phone number, asked the person answering to pick options ( the "person answering" was my voicemail machine...) The thing I don't understand is that my very slightly overdue bill was already paid and even cleared from my bank several days before they called. I hate being harassed for no reason, even with a voicemail.
