I too got a call after being on their website, and I hate telemarketers (solar electric are the worst.... already have solar and they don't care).  Anyway I called them back and got a GREAT deal on a truck for this summer, better than the website with the AAA discount and web discount.... GLAD I CALLED.... uhhhh ok glad they called!!

Penske moving trucks rental.

guess this must be penske.  yes i called them yesterday to get a quote.  they duidnt leave a message but im guessing they were just following up.

Why did they call today

Caller ID: TOLL FREE CALL.

This number called the office this afternoon. What sounded like a female voice asked for "John." When I verified the name and asked who was calling, she claimed to be from Penske Truck Rental. I told her she must have the wrong number  because nobody here is named John and we have no need for a rental truck. She claimed someone put our number on a request submitted through their website and that she'd remove it from her system. Hmm.

Woman was helpful. Offered some options regarding truck size and asked about my needs.  Since my move date had some flexibility - saved me almost 50% by moving a week later than planned.

On their website you have to give them your contact info to see their prices. Someone probably put in a fake number when doing that which happened to be yours.

Penske Truck rentals.  Follow up call after my initial online search and contact.  Apparently will continue unless you ask to be taken off their call list.

Sunday, 11am on 4th of July!! Very nice gentleman. He said he was following up on a Penske quote online. Hmmm. I probably did search for moving trucks about 2 months ago. Never got a quote.  Very strange. I wonder if they're fishing for credit card numbers?

Someone put my number in Penske's web form for a truck rental in December.
The woman I spoke with confirmed that I did not request a quote for a truck rental and removed my number from that request form.
I do not blame Penske for this call, just the person who put my phone number on their form.
