- John HowardMust be my night for alerts on credit cards I don't have and never had. First it was Cabela's, now US Bank. Sorry, don't even have a card issued by their alternate name Elan. Oh well, another scammer goes down in flames.
- elmI am confident that this is a fraudulent number. I called US Bank directly (as we should always do). Their representatives had no record of fraud anywhere on any of my cards, and they told me that their own fraud detection would have flagged them if any were showing fraud. Avoid this number! If you are concerned about fraud, call the number on the back of your credit cards!

- Okay but.... replies to Notthemama.... what's a legit call for you from this number may be a scam call for someone else, due to phone number spoofing. Scammers routinely spoof the numbers of legit companies. You did the right thing by calling the number on the back of your card.
- CSD| 2 replies1-800-309-4416 - was calling about US Bank Account Fraud alert - I do have a US Bank Account. I did not call this number back, but rather called the customer service number on the back of my card. THERE WAS FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY ON MY ACCOUNT. I am happy that they called.

We just received a call from this number saying that they suspected fraud on our account. I googled the number and found this thread and proceeded cautiously. We called the number on the back of our US Bank card which directed us to this same phone number to resolve the issue. Summary: NOT A SCAM! I suggest that you call the number on the back of your card just for safety but if you get a call from this phone number be sure to take care of the matter. Your account is most likely frozen.- Caller: Us Bank
- Call type: Valid
- NORV| 1 replyUS Bank Account Fraud alert is really US bank, called them and it is checking purchase from China. Good to see they are looking out for us.
- Caller: US BANK
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Tygerkat replies to NORVThen why did you mark your call as scam suspicion? And why are you here anyway? You apparently know who called you.
- Lori replies to SlimThank you for this information! Wasn't sure what to do after getting a call from this number!
- MOMODefinitely fraud/phishing. I called the US Bank number on the back of my card (thanks for that tip, whomever posted it). They confirmed account info and recent activity. So - this number on this site is likely fraud/phishing.
As other poster said - call the number on your card or account directly.- Caller: CardMemberSvc

- Douglas replies to CSDI have USBank account. Same happened to me. THERE WAS FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY ON MY ACCOUNT. I am happy that they called.
- SchwarzbarschI too have a US Bank Account. But US Bank doesn’t know/have the phone number this call was received on; it was on my Caller ID and no message was left. I checked my account and there was no fraudulent activity. Therefore, I believe it spam or possibly fraudulent activity.

- da6-30-2019 I received a call from “card services fraud protection” that there were charges they need to verify on a US Bank card ending with a given 4 digit number. The computerized caller stated a name for the supposed owner of the card, which was garbled just a little bit, and mispronounced by one letter. I do have a US Bank card. And the Caller ID did NOT include the name of any bank or credit card company, which I found to be suspicious. Instead of calling this number back, I called the number on the back of my card. US Bank said they were not trying to contact me, and that I had no pending charges on my card. So I have concluded THIS IS TOTALLY A FRAUD. When they said my regular and common first name, but having it be just a little bit off, it made me think that possibly these were some foreigners trying to pull something off. who knows? But I Hope this helped someone....
