Head Delude called from this company looking for my husband at my office and was very rude and harrassing to my employees.  She insinuated that it was to collect a debt, but in all actuality she was alleging a hit and run accident.  Liars!

Recvd a call saying to collect a debt over an accident. They said I had no insurance not true. And the accident was my fault also not true. Have no knowledge of what they are talking about

These people keep calling and when I asked to have my number removed, they get rude.  They have caller id because when I said I didn't want to be called, they mentioned the person they are looking for by name.

They are scum and I am reporting them.

Horrible collection tactics. I received a bill via mail claiming that I owe money in damages. What lines of BS? I asked for validation, they refused..... Damages what a joke to what????

i got a call from 3096636700. saying that i owed money for an accident that was my fault. didnt know anything about the accident. the gentleman sounded really sketchy. he left me this 1800 number. saying he will suspend my license! go for it not like my car works i got tboned by the other guy

Too funny.. Just got a letter about supposed accident, owe this money blah blah.. Only on date of said accident was in hospital. Sure didn't get out of hospital bed, drive a car, hit someone, then get back into hospital bed. Nice try jerks.

These PIA's keep calling. By now they should know that we know about this scam. What kind of a jerk would do this kind of work.

Another number to block.

Just got another harrasing call from these scammers, has anyone reported these people to someone they can share with me. These people are animals

Got a letter from them threatening to take me to court over an accident from a year ago.  The first guy claimed I had no insurance which I did.  When I provided him the insurance ph #, the claim # and the adjuster he was very polite and said he would follow up.  I followed up a day later and get a lady on the phone that would not even let me ask a question.  Claimed my insurance company refussed to pay the claim.  When I asked did they refuse or do you not show that I had insurance as the guy yesterday said.  She would not even answer.  Very rude and not professional at all.  I contacted the insurance company they supposedly represent and they are getting to the bottom of it as they claim Wilber and Associates have not been hired by them.  Scam, scum.  Attorney general office will be hearing about this from me.

Received a letter about an insurance claim for a "loss".  I hope nobody will ever take these at face value.  Always google the phone number.  Also, I haven't called Wilber & Associates yet but the attorneys they have on their letterhead are admitted to the ARDC (for those not familiar with the legal system) it is legitimate so hopefully these attorneys on there don't know anything about this.  They also have a real phone number not 800.  Never ever give financial info to any of these letters/phone calls, etc. without googling the number and name.

A man left a message identifying self as with “Wilber & Asso.,” gave a phone number and an extension number, and asked for a return call. A Google search for “Wilber & Asso.” shows it as a collection agency out of Normal, Il. Knowing I had no debts--including any that would be triggering a call from a collection agency--I decided to return the call, but exercise great caution. A woman answered, said who she was calling for. When I explained the person she named is my child, now over 30, has not lived at home since the early 2000s, she asked for an active phone number. I said I was not comfortable giving it without knowing why she was calling. She said she would mark the number as not a good one. She was gracious, appropriate. The conversation ended.

Just got a message from these people asking me to return there call with a phone# and a case#.  Went on line and found all of your comments about this place!  So I called back. Asked them what they wanted. They asked who was I LOL. Don't you know you called me. So i told them my name. They said oh well they wanted my grandson! Said he was not here,asked for a phone #. Did not give and they hung up right now!  Just who the H are they any how. The more I think about it the madder I get. Jerks does not  quite express my feelings!

Called me and said that I owe $600,000 for a house and I never had a house?

Accused me of rear ending someone in October with a stolen car and not having insurance. I never got in that accident.

Called about an accident they said my son was involved in. He was living in Europe on the date in question. These people are not real bright.

This is still going on as of April 12, 2016. I received a call today. My accident was a year ago in May. They had my information and claimed that the other party involved in the accidents insurance hired them to get the money owed. They are stating I owe $15,000 and that I have until the 25th to pay at least $7,000 or they are revoking my license because I had not made any payments.Mind you I have not heard from these people prior to this call. No letters, no phone calls, nothing prior. They seemed legit. They had my previous insurance company, my previous address even the day my accident occurred.  Every time I mentioned getting an attorney they hung up on me. I asked to be sent paperwork on this "judgment " and they said they don't send paperwork until they get 50% of the money owed. When they finally agreed to send me paperwork I stated that I would call them back to set up payments after I reviewed it with an attorney and they hung up. I called clerk of courts in my state (WI) and they checked statewide and found no civil cases against me. I then called IL which is where the other insurance company is and they did the same thing and again nothing. I called the dmv and they stated that I have nothing against me and that it would have to be a certified judgment through court to revoke my license and that they are showing no reason to revoke them.  This place Wilber or whatever said all they had to do was sent the police report and pictures to dmv for revocation.  Dmv stated that they have the police report and do not take pictures. When I informed these people that I was going to take this matter to court they told me that "I'd be sitting alone in the court room because it's a civil matter and can't be taken to court." [***]!  No matter how legit it sounds please take all steps to double check because mine turned out to be a scam and sounded very real.

A woman from this outfit called and left a message alleging I had an accident and she was the law office representing USAA insurance company.  She gave a return number to call, extension number and reference number.  No accidents have occurred as this is a false claim which can be proven false by means of exculpatory evidence possessed by my attorney.  This company is potentially engaging or attempting to engage in fraudulent transfer, false accusations, insurance fraud either directly or indirectly and potentially violating numerous TORT and FTC laws.  I have contacted my attorney-PI who has verified this is 100% a scam outfit hiding behind a false front of legitimacy hoping to prey on individuals own naivete to produce a voluntary transfer .  My attorney contacted his associated in law enforcement and upon further discovery and a formal amicus curiae, my states attorney general is assisting to attain an injunction and furtherance of additional legal action against this company in their local jurisdiction.
We have been informed a cause of action is forthcoming and have been advised by which means to pursue a class action lawsuit.
Anyone contacted by this company who might be concerned about the false accusations from wilbur and associates just realize the burden of proof is theirs.  Their legal procedures are invalid and the false threats are meaningless as they are unable to produce any valid proof of claim.  Their standard of proof will never achieve a preponderance of the evidence.  So if you can move forward against this company, litigation is an excellent option.

Otherwise, don't worry about it.
