My wife reserved a room at Days Inn and they enrolled her into Travlers Advantage. 30 day free try, then they hit you with $11 per month.

Sorry folks. My previous message was for the wrong#. I have several different charges on my account of which I am checking on.
This # was for Travel Advantage for $11.00. I called the # and spoke with John. He told me this was something that I signed up for when I made a motel reservation.. which I do not remember. Anyway, he cancelled any further charges & said the $11.00 should appear in my account on my next statement (billing cycle).  Keeping fingers crossed.

I think that I got this when I agreed to a great adventures membership, now that I canceled the one I hope the other is canceled as well.

I received a $12 charge on my credit card for Traveler's Advantage. I declined the service and was still charged.

I did not recieve a call, just a charge on my checking account with that number as a referrance number. I called it and discovered it was for the Travelers Advantage Program when we had made a reservation for Super 8. I recall declining the Travelers advantage shopping and hotel programs both and yet here there is a charge. I called Travelers Advantage and the first individual insisted that I was signed up for it and that they could not remove the charge. I asked to speak to their supervisor and the supervisor immediately agreed to remove the charge and cancel the membership.

I'm getting a $11.99 charge, I called them got a refund, they are charging me again for the same amount of $11.99 but under a different name and number, BUT THE SAME COMPANY.. WATCH OUT..

When I dialed the number, it says call them on weekdays. I will try my luck on Monday.

The company is Travelers Advantage.  If they call your house and you answer the phone they will debit your account.  If it is possible I suggest you have your bank change your bank account number and order a new bank card with a new number.  Then call the number on your statement and demand a refund.  Tell them to remove your name, number, address, and bank info from their records.  The first person will try to fight you.  Demand to talk to someone who has the power to issue refunds.  If they do not listen threaten to contact the Better Business Bureau and do it.  Be very careful with your financial information.

The phone rang and I picked up the phone but then they immediately hung up. Then I noticed a debit from my account for $12.50 with a reference to that same 800 number in the details of the debit.  I was only able to verify the number because I have caller ID and it was the only 800 number listed.  On my statement the company showed as TLG*TRVLADV

Listed on my credit card bill.  I have not authorized any such charge.

I have been charged since making a hotel reservation.  Thought it was my husbands charge.  Been paing for a year.  UGH!

Yup.  Travelers Advantage.  I also cancelled to find out they never cancelled.  This is a rip off company and everyone should report them to the BBB.

I am going to ask for all the charges refunded.  They totally mispelled my last name.  Told the person its hard to believe I signed up for this when you have my name wrong.  Going to tell my credit card company to decline this charge in the future.  Glad I checked this site.

Were you able to get your money back?? I just noticed this charge on my credit card and I've apparently been getting charged for MONTHS despite distinctly remembering to cancel within the 30 day allotted time. I don't have any materials to back up that claim, but am wondering if you were able to get your money back.

I made reservations at Ramada Inn in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and after doing so was immediately transferred to a party who said if I signed up with them I would get $20 off when checking in, I told them I was not interested and hung up.  I noted a $1 charge from TLG*TRVLADV and then in a week another charge for $16.99 and a week later another $16.99.  I called my credit card people and was advised this is one of the newest FRAUDS running and closed my credit card to prevent further charges.  I hope the Attorney General or FBI catch these crooks.

I too was charged by TLG*TRVLADV without my permission. The 19.99$ charge put my bank acct. into overdraft status and I did know until I received notice from the bank. It turns out that when I was contacted about another offer, they tied it to this company without my permission. I called the 800 number and isisted that the acct be cancelled and my money refunded.

I just noticed a $12.99 charge on my account for over a year.  When I called the rep told me that he could not refund my account.  I spoke with a supervisor "Shawn" who advised that the 12 months worth of charges would be refunded to my account within 48 hours.  You should try to call them and definitely speak with a supervisor.  I told them that I saw posts all over the internet showing that they were a scam and would not settle for anything less than cancelling my account and refunding my money.  I will be checking to make sure that it shows up on my checking account.
