I have a car loan with this company. And yes, I am a week late with my payment but they have literally called me 24 times since noon today (it is currently 6 pm). The caller ID shows the first 4 calls were about an hour apart but then they have called every 10-12 minutes since. I understand I am late but this is outright harassment.

Same here. Calls several times a week, but does not leave msg. We don't owe anything on our vehicles. Smells more like scammers than collectors.

They called my cell phone, there was so much static on the line I could not understand what she was saying so I hung up. When I checked the number here and saw the comments I immediately blocked it on my cell phone.

Trying to reach customer service about my  loan and can not reach anyone..the number has a fast busy

I can not get anyone to answer as I am trying to register my car in another state and I have to update information...have they closed down?

Well for one thing that problem has already been addressed on their website.  Secondly, there is this thing called a letter.  Have you tried sending them one?

The caller is Exeter Finance.  I have a car loan through them.  It is a legitimate call, at least in my case.

Called my cell phone & did not leave a message.  Did not answer but FOR SURE blocked this number.  Quick search came up w/ Exeter Finance, whoever they are - I have no business w/ them!

Are you in the 16th century? Who TF writes a letter? Use email.

What are you still in High School or something? Once you enter the real world of how business is conducted, you will find yourself in need of that pen and paper or at least a printer. Especially when it comes to signing something with your actual signature.
Years down the road when you need to prove something, you will more than likely be searching through a box of papers and not through the email.

Losers use email for important matters.  Why are they losers?  Simple.  When you send an email it gets dumped into a pile of other emails.  It might get relegated to the spam folder.  Plus you can't even actually prove that they got that email or that someone took the time to read it.  Now, Imagine this.  You type out a letter on a piece of paper.  You put it into an envelope and you send it out certified, return receipt.  So, I guess you are really confused right about now aren't you?  Well, by sending it that way you get a little green card back in the mail with someone's signature on it.  So, now you can prove that they received it.  You can be sure that any real company receiving a letter like that will have someone read it.  Especially if you take the time to address it to someone higher up.  Now, go troll elsewhere unless you want to get burned even worse.

I don't answer and they never leave a message. I did text to them to stop calling, that I was on the Do Not Call registry, and have reported them. Also, they are not supposed to call mobile numbers at all, whether a person is on the DNC or not. I told them if they actually needed something important that should leave a message. But am now going to block them.

Seems to be a scummy loan shark operation out of Texas (that state is headed to be #1 in criminal enterprises running scam finance related operations) that issues sub prime car loans at very high interest rates.

Calling Daily but leaving no message. From reading above, it seems to be about car loans, but I am current on my car loan. Don’t even owe any late fees.
