Total scam.  No legitimate process server notifies you in advance they are going to serve you.  Do not return their calls.  Block them.  If you do talk to them, tell them in no uncertain terms that you consider their calls a scam and that you are reporting them to the FTC.

    Report them:

    http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection

Also contact your local attorney general

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now. (They use the name Accufile also)

They are clearly in violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act with their meaningless threats.

Total scam.  Demand a debt validation letter be sent to you by US mail.  E-mail no good.  They refuse to do this (and they will refuse) simply block their calls and ignore them.

These people are located in California where the statue of limitations on ordinary civil debts is 4 years.

Now they call you and demand that you pay on a debt 12 years old!?  These people at T&H Financial are crazier that outhouse rats.  Do they really expect people to fall for their threats?

Can't understand why the state of California Attorney General hasn't put them out of business.

This number from Amy Oneil keeps calling and leaving a message about some urgent former complaint that needs my immediate attention, that I must have valid ID, and that they will attempt only two times to deliver the documents. Attorney can call the number if questions.

TRUE- IS SCAM .  "Jamie" claimed to be with Accufile Investigative Services threatened to come over with police and serve summons if response to phone #1-800-340-5219 was not within 2 hours..  I did research and found legitimate company AccuFile located in Maryland.  Spoke with CEO, FOUNDER, PRESIDENT.  He said he has received letters and calls regarding this scam.  I am notifying FTC, Texas State Attorney General, and news media.  Be wise and forceful against scammers - if they have no success, they will stop!!!  PS:  I have excellent credit and no outstanding bills due.

This relative was to call 800.340.5219 regarding some legal problem and gave me a reference #. Why was he calling me?

Don't be fooled people. I have a credit score over 850 and this idiot named Amy O'Neil keeps calling my home number and leaving threating messages about a complaint against me. They're going to make two attempts to deliver documents to my residence and I need to have my ID  Also they claim they will be contacting my employer. I've had A-1 credit for more than 20 years.
