I got a call from this number asking if I remember the last time I went to Disney land with my husband. I'm not married an I've never been to Disney land or anything like that so I knew something was wrong. I just blocked their number and reported them.

I noticed a charge of 522.67 on my Bank Statement. I reported this to my bank as fraudulent charges as the charge is definitely illegitimate. I checked my Verizon Bills, both residential and wireless, and did not see any related charge. Plus, I've been staying on top of paying my bills, so I know this is fraud. I don't recall receiving a call, but I noticed the number on my bank statement. Report this to your bank and check your accounts daily as you never know when you will be a victim of fraudulent charges/identity theft!

Did not receive a phone call but an email with this number on it to call and pay my bill.  Email did not look right and
our business bills are paid automatically each month by our AMX Corporate card.

I googled the # and your site provided the information I needed.  I have included the body of the email only.
Of course it looked very official.  Verizon's logo's etc.

Just received this email today (copied below).  It looked so legit. I checked my Verizon account since I know I am NOT behind on payments or have a balance.  My Verizon account online shows I am paid in full.  So I searched to 800 number in the email and came here.  Sigh.  Just glad I didn't call it.  I will report to Verizon so they are aware of this scam.

This is fradulent/scam. I was checking my bank account and linked credit cards accounts online.  I happened to noticed a charge for $515.19 that went through for FSI*Verizon+BMC$3.50 and another identical pending charge for the same $515.19 amount and merchant/FSI*Verizon+BMC$3.50.  I also haven't been using that particular credit card for several months.  I also don't have and haven't had Verizon for cable or phone or anything for over 15 years. I called the 1-800 number on the back of my credit card to report the fraudulent activity and cancelled the card/requested a replacement card.
