called and stated that it had a 6 digit code for me to enter to activate my CITI card.  I have never applied for a citi card.  Called the number back, did get a Briley, or Burley (so she stated her name) asked to speak to a supervisor or manager refused to let me speak to anyone.  Called the number back again and was in hold pattern for 48 minutes no one ever picked up again.  That number is not actually CITI bank or Synchrony number.  She knew I was on to her and they would not pick up the call a second time.

Called 12:01 AM2/8/22. DNA, no msg left.

I called the number left on caller ID (1-800-347-4934). Robo answered with "Thank you for calling Account Online Support ... enter credit card number or social security ..."
They do not identify themselves. Working through phone tree, finally identified this was CitiCard Credit Cards and told live person I was reporting them as SPAM because they do not identify themselves and ask for highly confidential information.

Got 3 calls from this number this morning in quick succession.  All 3 went to voicemail, where there is a moderate pause, followed by "Goodbye".  That's it, weird.  Beware of this number.

Accidentally returned call.  Said they were Synoprony Bank. Wanted my account numbers.  Hung up.  Call finally disconnected.  Blocked the caller ID and the number.  BEWARE! This is a SCAM.

How is it a scam?  If you call the bank then they will need to know your account numbers along with other information to verify your identity and to talk to you about the account.  Would you expect them to not want any of that and simply talk about your account to anyone who calls them and then tells them that they are you?

Received two calls from number 1-800-347-4934 that went to voicemail.  Both voicemail messages had a female voice who said, "Are you expecting this call?...Goodbye".

Called and left no message.  CID says Synchrony Bank.  Looks like a scam.

Call came in at 12:20 a.m. from bank. Did not answer as I get slot of scam calls. Left a message asking if I was expecting this call?? I think this is an unusual message from a bank!!
