    Enterprise Recovery Systems is a collection agency that in part, collects delinquent student loans. Their caller ID comes up in Indiana as Unknown. This is generally a trademark of a collection attempt.

    I got a call from them, too.  They had the wrong person, and didn't bother to verify my identity via SSN before he got me on the phone.  Not very professional.

    They are also harassing me, although they KNOW I am not the person they are looking for.  Last night, I asked the lady nicely, not to call again and she said, "DIDN'T I SAY I HAD THE WRONG NUMBER?"  That's when I let her have it!!  They called again this a.m.  They call several times a day!!  So, what can a person do about this harassment????

    Called 3 times today.  Desperately needs to speak to "somebody" or "somebody" whose names do not remotely resemble mine.  (I had a choice of two different names!)  I called back and left a message to cease and disist calling my number as we had no business with a collection agency.  Also informed "Michelle" at ext. 206, that unless she was collecting Social Security, she better quit calling me "honey" on the message machine!!!

    This number has repeatedly called my parents home phone harassing them and claiming they're next plan of action is to call me at work..All about a student loan that belongs to my fiance.  The man who keeps calling is Mr. Mays and he is very rude and was very accusatory to me.

    This is harassment, and they need to stop making threats to me and my family.

    This collection agency does not honor its agreements. One of their people called me on Friday, demanding payments. I told them to call back on Monday, at which time I would make a payment over the phone. Meanwhile  they continued calling me at least 3 times a day all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They seem to assume everyone is a flake who will not pay unless harassed.

    I set up payment plans with them almost a year ago. I have the payments directly debited from my account every single month on time yet they still call 5-7 times a day starting around 8 am and every hour or two after that. Seems a little much when I have kept up my end of the agreement!

    Franny.
    They've called me a few times. Just passed it off as an 800 number I could ignore (that and 888 numbers). They've called me a few times in the past and three times already today, left a voicemail twice, the first one I deleted because the name they said wasn't mine and the second I deleted because I could barely understand the man leaving the message.

    I don't get it. I know now that they are a collection agency for student loans, but I'm only in high school. ;-;

    Dean Cash has called me repeatedly. I told him that I wanted to setup a payment plan and he told me that he wanted it paid in full TODAY. I told him to take a flying leap.

    They call me at work almost every day.  My manager told them to stop calling.  they did for about a month, and started back up again.  They know when i work, and only call when I am there.  Make sure you have any of your social networking sites on private.  They look at them.  I posted once that i was at work, two min later "HE" called saying he knows i'm there and that i must talk to him this is "a serious government matter!"  he has used profanity, including the f word to my co workers when they said i can not take personal phone calls, and even threaten to call my corporate head quarters.  THEY ARE STALKERS!!!!

    This collection agency has started calling my work looking for me.  I work at a call center so they won't ever reach me but I could definitely be fired for their contact.
    To get them to stop write a letter advising them to no longer contact you (via phone if it is your debt and at all if it's not) If they are trying to hold you responsible ask for all accounting and documented proof that the debt belongs to you.  You can notify them that you will only respond to direct Written contact to yourself and demand that they stop calling any phone numbers belonging to yourself, your employer or any other third parties (ie. parents etc.).  You can review the Fair Debt Collection Act for your rights in these situations and what can be done to stop the threats and harrasment as it is illegal for them to do.
