"Amber" called and left a message using my maiden name, which I haven't used in 19 years. Said she was with the IRS..and I need to call asap. I called and still have no clue what she wanted sounded drunk! I did get it out of her that she has nothing to do with IRS. I hung up!

I started receiving a call from a woman at my home since last week.  She said she is from ERS and the call is regarding the university I attended.  She said to call her as soon as possible.  I did not call her.

cheat liars and thieves.

I would send them a bill for all the cost of the call,and state they were told they had the wrong number but . kept calling so they should have to pay for the extra charges. Small claims court is always an option. 25 dollar filing fee but I do not think it will go that far but it might get your number off their list. Hope this helps.

Sounds about righr. I just got off the phone with them, BUT they had been trying contact my dad. He said he doesn't answer 800 numbers so never knew what it was for. Then today they called him on his cell phone. Which we NEVER put down as a contact number... how they got it is beyond me.

The caller ID showed 206-971-6458 which is obviously spoofed.  Some idiot calling himself Mr. Fitzgerald actually left a message that he is from Enterprise Recovery and that this is from a debt collector.  No other information.  Since they don't know my name, they must not be looking for me.

I found it odd on the voicemail that they don't specify WHO they are looking to collect debt from. I called to humor this, and if by some chance I do have debt I'd like to pay it off. I reached the lady who called and asked what is the debt that I owe from? And how much? She wouldn't answer without getting my full social security number and birth date. Hmm no thanks lady. I'd like to see some paperwork and proof before I give out my info.

By law they cannot disclose any information about an alleged debt to anyone but the debtor.  If you are not sure if you have any debts that have gone to collections, pull a copy of your credit report (you can get a one free one) and see if there are any listed.

Received call from 313-221-5754 and they left message "this is Oliver Houston with All Tram Education. My call is from a debt collector. Please give me a return call at 1-800-377-1904, select option 1. My extension is 3147. For your convenience I will be in the office today until 6 pm." I have also received calls with no messages from  313-221-5761 and 313-221-6743.
