Received three calls with no message from this number.

THEY WONT STOP CALLING!!!! theyve called 17 TIMES in the past HOUR!!!!! WTF HOW DO I BLOCK THE NUMBER?!?!

They solicit money and once you donate they continually call for more money weekly.

They have a couple different toll free numbers they use minutes apart. Just in case you recognize one, they will switch on you. The companion number to this one is 888-398-2256

800-390-4819, repeated caller id's, over past 3 months, as many as 4 a day.  When asked to stop calling the reply was we only try once and then don't call again.  Solicitor for unknown police donation.

They've called my home number 3 times today, and atleast that many in the past few days. My daughter said the number was calling her cell phone too.

She finally got them to talk today, and they said it was regarding a check I had sent in the mail (which I did recently mail out my monthly bills) but since she wasnt me, they hung up on her mid-sentence.

call constantly...at least once an hour. by both numbers. Has a really bad attitude, called me names and mocked me on the phone when pretended he had the wrong number so i hung up. then he called back, just to hang up on me.

they called twice within 1 hour, no message or anything both times.

or something close to it....I am going to call this number

yes they keep calling - several times a day and only ask for my wife.  They hang up before you can say anything and don't stop calling. (twice in the last hour)

I called my phone company (Qwest) and they suggested looking out on:
http://www.donotcall.gov and making sure I was registered on the 'do not call' list.  You can file a complaint on that site as well, which I did!!

This number has called 10 times today they dont talk or leave a message...
They called 8 times yesterday.

I have the same thing happening as everyone else. I don't think the do not call list will do any good in this case because if they are a charity they can get around the do not call list. Maybe one of those horns they use at football games. LOL

I checked with the Better Business Bureau. LEEP is a registered charity that is not transparent, hence suspect. LEEP was an official program initiated by the national government (i.e a government program) in the 1980's that terminated in the late 1990's. I can find no recent PR outside of the LEEP website about their charitable works. LEEP is most likely a scam charity outfit.

Called and asked for me.  Asked there name and they stated "Lester Sherman, can I talk to NAME?"  Asked what they were calling about and he said "This is Lester Sherman from the Community Service Group." Informed them we did not donate over the phone.

called several times wanting money told them i was broke that i needed money could u please take me off your list and the guy on the phone told me i was a dead beat and hung up

called--- they obviously have an automated caller system since it took a few second before he came on line.
asked for my wife and said she was not available
asked for a name -- got martin
asked who who solictiting and they said police
aasked which police and he said local
I said Ohio State Police? and HE HUNG UP

They were calling me too. This is what I did and it seemed to work, I called back the number and got a voice mail. I pushed the #5 button and it seems to loop the message the more I pressed the more it looped.

I then decided to keep calling it to run up their phone bill. I figured it was the least I could do.  After about ten times, guess what, they called right back!

So when they called I sounded very pleasant.  “I am glad you called” got the guy’s name and then told him I am recording the conversation and do not bother to hang up, I trapped the actual number and my attorney is on the line. I told him I wished to speak to his manager and by law I was entitled to it (OK that is a lie but, they started off lying to me).Got the manager’s name. Told them do not call or “I’ll sue the next time you call” he said they are a charity and they are not bound to the “do not call list” I told them that a this point I am officially are asking them not to and now they are bound to it.

I haven’t heard from them since.
