Got a call from thus number saying they were "Rex Roberts" from "City". said they sent me paperwork.

Appears to supply loans to auto dealerships.  Not clear exactly what they do.

There is a Mr. Rex Roberts, who is supposed to be a Vice President

Same message. I called back and they put me on hold for a long time si I hung up.

From Rex Roberts' at City saying mailed me paperwork. Never requested this or gave them my cell. Also City what??

Glad to know I'm not the only one! The past two weeks ( on Sundays) I've gotten calls from Rex Roberts and I never made any calls in the first place or requested any paperwork.

I received a message also. Went straight to my voicemail, my phone never rang.

This sounds like an attempt to collect on an old debt or a nonexistent debt.  Scammers often use these type of tactics to scam people out of their money.  A real debt collector will send something in the mail.

Just got the same message as everyone else just now. I think it is an attempt to collect debt.

I got a call from Rex Roberts too.  Called back to let him know he has the wrong person/number but never got through as I was on hold forever and hung up.

Voicemail from Rex Roberts at Citi Lending. He said he received my application online, but there was some information missing and asked that I call him back at 800-391-4346. Instead, I deleted the message and blocked the number on my phone.

Seems like Rex Roberts likes to call random people. I wonder how many Rex Roberts City Lending employs. He said he received my application but needs more info. I have never dealt with City Lending nor am I looking auto financing.

Just got a second call from Rex Roberts. Two different numbers and both left voicemails. I listened to them one after the other and it is obviously a recorded message. Same pauses, same tones, everything identical.

I received two straight to voicemails, never rang.  He said his name was Rex. I so happen to still have the first voicemail from Jan 17. It's the same recording playing over again.

I had the same call as we’ll figure it fake even though the number comes up and they are BBB rated ! Don’t trust this at all
