- annoyedCaller leaves 2 voicemails in the space of 15 minutes and refers to themselves as "investigator"... they try to make it sound all legal and scary yet do not say what company/organization they are with and/or representing.
- AlfalfaIt's probably a collection agency. This is one (of many) intimidation tactics they use, in order to collect on an alleged debt. I googled the number, but couldn't come up with their name/location.
- Call type: Debt collector
- Diane| 1 replyCaller said she needed to have me call her at this number. Her name was Investigator Riley. Too late to call her back
- Caller: unknown
- anon| 1 replyjust got the same phone call a few minutes ago. someone else is talking in the background about issuing warrants and then she starts talking as if she didn't know someone was on the phone. Her message doesn't state who she is calling for or what it's concerning. She called my cell phone. The number on the caller id however was 800-735-0552. I googled that number and it comes up as SRA associates.
- Caller: unknown (Investigator Riley)
- MJ replies to anongot a call from 800-405-0122 her name Sharon Davis, said they were investigators for Bank Of America. My son traded in a vehicle a year ago and said that Bank of America hired them to collect on the vehicle traded in. Called Sharon DAvis back and asked the name of the co. she refused.
- mniMy mom got a call from the same number looking for me. I haven't lived with my mother for over 30 years. I suspect they were just calling numbers until they got someone who they think know the person. She said her name was Sahron Davis and she is a private investigator. She didn't say where she was from either.
- spaceyall of the above happened to me
- kosmoI too received a voicemail from Investigator...(HA) Sharon Davis...Having family in Law Enforcement, and activities that recently happened..kind of scary. Turns out left message and she is looking for husband who has been gone over 12 years. Tacky..it seems if you are truly trying to collect you should properly identify yourself..Of course now I will not help her (if I could as I too could use the owed $), and the scare tactic is not helpful nor the inability to ientify oneself. It sesms like you would get more with honesty!!
- Caller: Who knows
- jj replies to DianeI got the same message with the same name, but it was a man.
- Nene| 2 repliesInvestigator Riley got a hold of my parents and told them that my fiance was into drugs and that he was dragging me in to doing it as well. She also told my parents that I was in more trouble then what they could imagine. Needless to say she scared the [***] out of my parents and made them mad at me. I have not even lived with my parents since I was 18. When I called her back I had to try the number six times before I could get ahold of anyone and then she denied saying anything about drugs to my parents.
- JLCI received a voice mail from this number today. The woman said her name was Investigator Larson and that she had to discuss a very important matter with me, but she didn't leave a company name or any further details as to why she was calling; she only left this 800 number and her extension number.
I called back at about 8:20 p.m. my time (CA) and after one ring there was a message that said, "Please dial the four-digit extension of the party you are trying to reach," which I did. Then the message said, "Record your message after the tone. Press any key to save your message."
Guess what? I left her a message saying that when she got my message and calls me back, which I know she'll do, that not only will she go straight to voice mail. I also told her that if she did not leave complete information in any further messages, for example, company/organization name, a brief description of the nature of her call with a callback number, that she would never talk to me over the phone in this lifetime. And even if she does leave another message that meets my requirements, it is only at my discretion or if and when I feel like it that I MIGHT return her call.
You know, some of these bill collectors are real pieces of work, trying to use scare tactics and idle threats to get a response from someone. I say, "Bring it on, *itch," 'cause she wants something from me and I don't have nothing to lose !!!- Caller: Unknown

- beckyI received a call from investigator Wes...not knowing who she was and why she was calling I took a message. Googled the number and found all of this..I called her back with my number blocked and found that she is working for a repossession company. Saying that she is to get my car that is current. Immediately I called my finance company and let them know what I was told. So here is one of the reasons they are calling and she would not state her company.
- Caller: investigator for repossession company
- becky replies to Nenei just posted what I found out when I got a call from Investigator Wes...She is working for a repossession company. At least that is what my call was regarding. You can file a complaint with the FCC regarding the harrassment.
- JGP| 1 replyCaller called and said that she was an investigator - Riley was the name - she will have an warrant for my arrest (my wife) - I know it's for repo of my wife's vehicle - she was not home and I told them she is going to be back home by Thursday at noon - this person was pretending to be talking to a judge to allow my wife until Thursday and the 'judge' apparently said ok
Can they threaten an arrest warrant and sending you to jail - it was scary but I am going to talk to my attorney tomorrow morning - if this is the tactic they want to use then I will let them take me to court to get the vehicle back -- Caller: DID NOT GIVE ON
- chinchinCaller left voicemail to me using my first name only. She identified herself as investigator Riley and said she was trying to reach my daughter who has not lived here in 10 years. Left this number and extension 3328. I gave my daughter the message, she called it,got no answer so she googled the number and got this site. I am reporting the call since it was my number they called.

- wow123987Called and left a voicemail saying that she was an investigator and i needed to call her back asap. I called her she was form Bank Of America i proudly gave her my bankruptcy information and told her where to stick it. Shame on Bank of America for their disgraceful collection attempt.
- Caller: Bank Of America
- Call type: Debt collector
- BeaksterWas a voice mail on the phone when we returned home from being out. "Ivestigator [can't remember name] called and wanted to talk to my stepdaughter. When my husband returned he call, the "Investiga tor" had left for the day. Unknown reason for call, but my husband and I suspect possible collection agency. I agree with other posted comments that they try to make it sound official and intimidating. It is great having this site!

- AggieDitto the above-- message left by "Investigator Sharon Davis" to call her back about an important issue with my ex and his 2nd wife. My call wouldn't go through, which is fine, now that I've seen these other posts. Probably is related to collections as they had some financial issues in the past-- none of which had anything to do with me.
- AggieFollow up to my earlier post-- Ms. Davis called again while I was home and said she works with BofA, looking for info on the 2nd wife who stopped making payments. I guess they look for anyone who may be able to provide info. Ms. Davis was very pleasant. Collections must be a nasty job-- but doesn't someone have to do it as long as people quit paying?
