Got a call from Investigator Davis trying to be intimidating.  Said she would have a warrant put out.  They are collecting for Bank of America.  Very bad way to do business.  They do not communicate what so ever with Bank of America when my situation had been handled over a week ago with the bank.  They need to get their act together and communicate a little better if they are a collector for them.

Caller left voicemail to me using my first name only.She identified herself as investigator Riley. Thanks to this site I know it's a BS call.
PS Riley, if you are reading this, nobody calls me John. :)

detective riley called me and left a voicemail saying i needed to call her back asap.  I called cuz i thought it might be regarding a recent identity theft claim i filed. when i punched in the extension i was put on hold to very loud music of the black eyed peas. that is when i did a google search and hung up. I suggest that everyone check their phone bill to make sure they haven't acquired an outrageous fee for calling detective riley back or accepting the call.

Investigator Riley.  Called my boss, my house, my cell, and my neighbor.  I returned the call, and the "Investigator" would not identify her company.  Threatened a court order and law enforcement involvement.  Seems she was calling on behalf of Bank Of America on a loan payment that was sill in the 10 day grace period.  Shame on you B of A for utilizing such nasty tactics!

"investigator " riley called my mom, whom i do not live with because i am a grown up and have not lived there for over 20 years, and threatened that if i do not surrender my vehicle by Wednesday, that i was going to be arrested and court papers filed on Wed.  But,  if i surrender the vehicle by Wed it would be like nothing happened.  First,  Riley is NOT LAW ENFORCEMENT and i have no idea what company she was calling from. She had my mother so scared and in tears that it was ridiculous!  If my mom has a heart attack over this, Riley will be going to jail for impersonating a law enforcement officer!   I called Riley asked for the company name and her investigator license number, which she must give by law, and she was very NASTY and told some lies about my spouse and HUNG UP on me. Think about it, a law enforcement investigator would give you their information and would never hang up on you! So, if you get a call from Snohomish, Washington  800-499-8691 × 4117 or 360-453-2424, it's an impersonator calling to use scare tactics and who will call your family, neighbors,  employers to make up stories about you and your spouse and will ask your family information about you for leverage to scare the crap out of you. Call your lenders to report these calls. Call the state attorney general office in Washington about the impersonating people calling.

I did not receive a call from the listed number, but i did get a call from another 800 # with an "Investigator " Riley calling for me. First she called my family and God only knows who else and scared them by using the key words such as warrant, jail, courts, theft, arrest, etc.  She must be a hacker and skip tracer and did Internet searches on my name  and my spouses and family to get information.  My family was scared and in tears and terrified that if we did not pay a bill in 48 hrs that there was going to a court action with a warrant.  Now, back to reality.  She is not a law enforcement investigator and that is illegal to impersonate such. The number came up in the state of Washington where I've never been.  I've been looking online myself and her calls have also originated from North Carolina as well. This is very scary!  DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO HER!  She is a fraud.  I asked for her badge number,  investigator license number, agency name and address, case and or file number. She said something very deragatory  about my spouse and IMMEDIATELY DISCONNECTED THE CALL.  There you go people, she was caught and had nothing to say so she hung up. The FCC and state attorney in the state of Washington need to be aware of this. We don't even know if they are in the US! Check your bank accounts and credit cards to make sure that everything is fine. Be very careful with your Facebook account,  twitter,  pinterest,  ancestry.com etc because this is where they are getting personal information.  They will call your employer,  neighbors, friends and family to scare them into giving information.  Do not fall for this scam!

Similar experience with "Investigator " Riley in 2015. My family is upset with me too over the horrible scare tactics and it is illegal to impersonate a law enforcement investigator.  2008-2015 this person is still able to call people from hundreds of different numbers that range from the state of Washington to North Carolina,  neither of which states i have lived.

This same "Investigator " Riley called my family and told them the same thing. I called her and asked her for all of her credentials and information,  she disconnected the call! Illegal to impersonate a law enforcement investigator!  It is now 2015 and this person is threatening people. Too many years have gone by from 2008-2015 that this person calls from hundreds of different numbers ranging from the state of Washington to North Carolina where I have never lived.  Do not give any information.  You cannot go to jail for late car payments or late home payments. These people are scaring people and they are calling everyone but you....RED FLAG  right there!
