Jose called from this number, claiming to be from SDGE, saying I need to pay bill immediately or service will be interrupted... I am to call 800-963-3950 and press 2 immediately and pay

Calls & leaves no message!

TOTAL SCAM. DO NOT ANSWER. This number is a spoof of the real San Diego Gas & Electric number. It came through on my cell and I accidentally answered it and it was dead air. But since my phone number is now validated because I answered it, I immediately received a call from a San Diego area code, 619-363-6476 which I did not answer. It was a horribly obvious robocall automated message that says it's about a legal case from the legal dept. of Social Security administration, that my SSN has been suspended and they've filed a case under my name. And to call them before this matter goes to Federal Claims courthouse for me to get arrested.

It's So Cal Edison. Left me a message that there was a power outage planned for the following week.

SCAM ALERT! The caller claimed to be from Duke energy confirming that I received a letter in the mail for my electrical service to be disconnected within one hour mind you this is Memorial Day as well. I replied well that's funny because I don't have Duke energy. The caller  immediately hung up. I called the number back and this number is a spoof of the real San Diego Gas & Electric phone number. Sorry scammer not this time nor ever, I am 2500 miles away on the east coast!!

CID says "Unknown"... hung up on machine. we have had similar calls related to previous comments from heavily accented individuals demanding payment and cussed out when laughed at.

Both Caller ID and the voicemail recorded message says it's SDGE, and we are customers. But it sounds like a badly recorded robocall. (800) 411-7343 is really an SDGE phone number, but I believe this is a spoofing scam. The message said they were calling about a scheduled outage apologizing for the inconvenience of not having power.

I answered...Caller ID said San Diego Gas & Electric...they spoke Spanish..I don't know Spanish n have nothing to do with them..n I live in Houston so guessing it was fraud

Received a call and did not leave message. It looks like the SDG&E but it is not true. Be aware of this scammer.

Called me today 10:30 am 800 411- 7343...messages says to call 800-913-0320 regarding my gas & electric will be shut off. SCAMMERS FOR SURE!!!!!! I have solar

And the endless parade of criminals continues unabated...called both my cell and landline within a minute of each other.  And SDG&E is my utility company.  It was spoofed a few years ago too.  Took them about two years to get rid of it.  I'll call them in the morning.

Total scam! Caller ID shows SDGE with an 800 number VERY close to SDGE's actual billing number. But, they demand a call back at a different number to avoid shutoff. Don't fall for it.

I received an automated message allegedly from San Diego Gas & Electric billing department saying that power would be cut off in 30 minutes due to an unpaid balance.  They said to call 1-800-822-3546 to pay the balance.  I don't have an outstanding balance, so I knew it's a scam.  (My caller ID said that the calling phone number was 1-800-411-7343.)

Received a call from 800-411-7343. It was a robo call. They did not identify themselves nor what they wanted. This tel # belongs to SDG&E for the public to report electrical emergencies. It was a suspicious call. Be careful.

but, call, them back, wasting their 800 minutes. They’ll never have the Initiative to apologize.. even the score.

Unknown/spoofed caller/number called my wife's cellphone and left SDG&E customer service message though we are not customers and do not live in their service area

Wow, this time it's a legit call from SDG&E about a planned outage. They called every phone we have listed on our account.

The Caller ID and number match legitimate SDG&E info but it has been spoofed. Scammer threatening to disconnect service if you don't send gift cards. How does anyone fall for this crap???
