they've called me twice, saying they had some important information for me.  I called back an asked, what is ccs? the guy would not answer me so I hung up.

They call looking for William S. Coy.  I called them back to tell them that they have the wrong number.  They immediately hung up on me.

My daughter gets messages from these people all the time (she's 12).  I tried calling it back and ended up on hold.

Apparently the person that had the phone number before her was not very financially competent because she gets a lot of collection calls.  I wish there was a way to scrub the number from all previous lists when the number changes hands.

I just got a call from them on my home number that I never gave them - in fact, my home number is unlisted and to make matters worse I moved from one state to another state!  I know that I did belong to BMG Music Club years ago and they just sent me a collection notice to my old address that was forwarded to my new address.  BMG tried to tell me long ago that I owed for something from 3 years ago but when I requested proof that:
1. I had even ordered the said item (I had cancelled the club long before the debt even occurred)
2. Proof that I had even received this item (I never received anything)
3. Proof of what was even ordered (they could never tell me what was ordered!)

When I sent the letter to BMG (it was so long ago I can't even remember when!) asking for the back-up documentation they could never produce anything to show that I was responsible for the debt!  I am not going to pay for anything that I never ordered nor received!

I will be contacting our District Attorney's office here in Arizona as well as the Office of the Governor (Janet Napalitano doesn't play here in AZ - LOL!) Consumer Affairs Division and filing complaints with them as well and possibly contacting Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Maricopa County - he is the one with the chain gang and pink prison underwear - wonder how they would look in those!

Also, I think it would be a good idea if you contact the credit bureau reporting agencies and have them place a flag on your credit report so that if these numbnuts try to leave negative credit information on your credit report that you have the ability to dispute this information so that it does not hurt you in the future!

Just got a phone call from this number with a long file number. when i dialed *69 to get the call back number the it said the last incoming call number was 000-000-0000  sounds fishy to me.. Im not calling back ever !!!

This company leaves me messages 2 or 3 times a day while Im at work, had a day off, good thing, it takes that long to get someone on the phone, so I called back with my 9000 numeral reference number, they hung up on me 4 times before I got a live person, who then placed me on hold for 13 minutes, by the time the next person came I had looked up a bunch of laws and this web sight. I asked for full name of the person I was talking to, the full company name and address, and let him know that I was on the national do not call list. This is a collection agency out of Cambridge Mass, 2 Wells Av to be exact. Client Services is the name of the outfit, and here is their fax number 1-781-234-7155, personally I am going to fax them junk about 600 times a day from now on to see how they like it. They represent BGM music, which I have never belonged to..they advised me I had to write to them to stop the calls, and open a dispute. Since I dont have the time, nor effort to be bothered, I wont reply, but I also let them know that I wanted a written copy of their do not call policy within 10 days, and that my friend's is the key, if they do not send one and they call me back, I open a small claims case with the District Attorneys office, and get 500.00, easy money, I say let them call me again..

Calling in the early mornings, before 8:00 AM, then continue to about 10:30 AM.

They were really trying to get me to pay through them with c.c. numbers or check by phone. No Way! IT's only $34. I'll just pay it money order to make the calls stop to my mom's house.

This outfit will not leave me alone. I am not the party they are trying to reach. I have tried to notify them but no answer. Throw all of them in jail.

CB in NC is absolutely correct.  I've had various scam agencies try that garbage with me in the past.  Some of them get really nasty & abusive & try to scare you into paying them by claiming they will have you arrested immediately if you don't.  This company sounds like another bunch of scammers, especially when people are saying they refuse to identify who/what they are or they hang up on you when you tell them it's a wrong number.  (I had one company hang up immediately and never bothered me since when I said I was going to report them to the Atty. General).  Glad I haven't wasted my time calling these vermin

I call CCS about a letter I received in the mail.  I haven't had an account with them for over 6 years.  Does anyone know how to contact BMG?

They have called repeatedly using my maiden name (which I haven't used in over eight years) with a reference number. Have tried to return the call and always get a recording that they are not open. Can only assume it is a scam or some long ago account

I am glad that I contiuned to read all the posts I also did have a bmg account. they have even sent me a letter with an amout that I owe. I just sent it back with all the paper junk and said DO NOT ANY LONGER HAVE THIS ACCOUNT.. LOL  I still get calls at all hours also. it is really anoying. I think I can put them on call block I am going to check into that with my phone company. thanks for heads up and the advice.....keep it up.

I was constantly getting a call from them.  I tried to call them back but I would disconnect.  I filed a complaint with my state's Do Not Call List.  Today I finally talked to somebody and they said they will remove my name!!!!  My fingers are crossed that this will work.

They have called repeatedly over the past 2 years for two people with the same surname. They have been told every time that the number does not belong to the person called for, yet despite their claim that they will remove the number from their database, they try again some month or so later. I do not tell them ANY personal info, only that the number does not belong to the person called, and that I do not want them to call again.
