This number called the office yesterday after hours. The caller didn't leave a message.
Checking what a previous poster submitted, it appears that this number is in fact the customer service number for AT&T Universal Card. However, the fact people are cold calling from this number and demanding personal information such as account and social security numbers--especially from people who've stated they don't have this particular card--leads me to believe this number is being spoofed to convince people the call is legitimate in an attempt to phish personal information.Off topicIn the past, I received a call claiming to be from my credit card company wanting to verify information about a potential breach. What I did was tell the agent I was going to hang up and call the company back directly using the number on the back of my card because I wasn't sure if the call was legitimate. I did that and I found out that the call was legitimate and someone compromised my credit card number. Unfortunately, though, one can't be too cautious when it comes to safeguarding personal information.- Caller: TOLL FREE CALL

- GordonI was called by this number (800-423-4343) and asked to enter a number to reduce my credit card percentage interest rate.
The caller said his name was Steven Riley, but he had a very think Indian accent. He gave me his userID as js8004 and a call back number of 786-405-8971). Company name is Card Member Services.
He said he didn't need much info to start with, then continued to ask more and more details at each step. I eventually hung up after providing a couple of items only. He then kept calling back from a caller ID of +17006- Caller: Card Member Services
