Everyone who has written a note here about the bogus ADIPOSE RX charge should consider filing an internet fraud complaint with the FBI at:

    http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

You may not think the FBI would be interested in a $34.84 charge, but consider this:
It is possible that hundreds, if not thousands, of credit/debit card and bank account numbers have been illegally obtained by this company.  Many people may not notice this charge on their statements and simply pay it. If 1,000 numbers were stolen, this company makes a quick profit of $34,840! If the FBI gets enough complaints on these crooks, then it is likely they will make an effort to stop them.

Same thing, same charge happened to me. I called the 800 Number, got through and was told I would receive a refund in 24 to 48 hours. I'll wait one more day. If I don't get my refund I'll file charges.
Requested a new Credit Card. I have no idea how ADIPOSERX got my name, address, and tele-number.  I haven't used this particular CC in several months.
Someone hacked and  got all the info. This is scary and infuriating

Not much different than anyone else here, but the more victims who post here, the more likely this will come up when anyone searches for Adipose RX.

$34.84 charged to my credit card.  Charge was made Friday 1/30, posted 2/01.  I didn't notice until I checked my statement on 2/06.  I disputed the charge with my CC company (Chase).  They put me through to their fraud department who called Adipose RX.  Someone there said that I would be credited for the full amount.  He wanted my address, but I was reluctant to give it to him, even with Chase on the line.  So then the telemarketer read out my home address to me to verify.  Later, checking my email, I found that I was credited for the full amount.

So, someone that I have never had business dealings with now has my name, my credit card number, my address (and I assume phone number), and my email address.  Curously, my CC company is suggesting that I not cancel my card in case this is an isolated case.  I'm on record with them over this fraud, and I'll be watching my card like a hawk, so I'm going to go along with them until something like this happens again.

Last night on the local news, there was a brief piece on fraudulent charges to credit cards.  Typically less than a dollar, it is called "probing" to see if the credit card is still active.  I wonder if this is to see who checks their statements.

I just noticed his charge on my statement. Judging from the other posts here, multiple bank card companies are affected. Also, I don't think it matters where you used the card, none of the mentioned businesses here are the two companies I made charges to during the last 10 months - one of which was an over the counter purchase at Radio Shack, and the other was an online subscription to Consumer Reports. This leads me to believe that either the hacker/criminal doing this got our card numbers(and home address in my case) directly from the banks involved, or from the businesses we've made legitimate charges to somehow. If anybody has anything more definitive about this, please post here.

Their shipment arrived the same day that I got the charge on my charge account.  Got thru to Lose Weight Systems who indicated it must have been caused when I was surfing around on the internet.  Although very friendly, no response when I indicated that there seems to be an awful lot of folks who must have made the same mistake on about the same date...hmmmm...  I hadn't opened the package so it gets returned to sender and acct will be credited.

The same exact thing happened to me.  I was charged the $34.84 from AdiposeRX on a bottle of pills I recieved in the mail but never ordered.  After several hours of trying to get to speak with someone at the 800 number the phone was picked up by "Walt" who knew all my personal information, though I never dealt with them before. I am suppose to be getting a refund in 2-3 days. I did receive an email confirmation of the supposed refund, even though I did not give them my email address. Not sure if that refund will happen.  I can't believe the amount of people here that have been affected the same way by this fraud. I will be contacting my state's (connecticut) Attorney General and the government.  This has to be stopped.

I called the 800 number the same day I noticed the charge (Friday, 2-6) and spoke with someone who claimed they would cancel my 'account' and refund my money.  The refund posted to my bank account today (2-10) with no problems...

    F ADIPOSE
CALL YOUR BANK AND FILE A AFFIDAVIT OF FRAUD. Do not call ADIPOSE or any of the above numbers... THEY are A F..ING FRAUD. The best way to get back at them is to call your BANK and file a report for an unauthorized transaction.  EVERY CHARGE BACK COST ADIPOSE $$$$ IN ADDITION TO THE $34.84. I can't believe the volume of people that will call and talk to a scammer. Adipose will credit you because they got caught  THEY DON'T WANT YOU TO CALL YOUR BANK BECAUSE YOUR BANK WILL CREDIT YOU AND GO AFTER THEM FOR FRAUD!!!...CALL YOUR BANK/CREDIT CARD AND TELL THEM ADIPOSE UNAUTHORIZED USED your ACCOUNT and this is fraud.

Same happened here...looks like they got a good list and abused it.  The product is the same and it just got sent out to whoever's list they stole or bought.

We only do transactions with itunes, Zappos, Amazon so those would be the only companies that have the information

More info....We called the bank and they made a three way call with the bank, ADIPOSE RX, and my wife.  They said that the account had been open and set to auto ship so if you don't get your bank involved, you will get a new shipment every month with a hit to your card.  Not sure how they pulled this one off but apparently they got caught a lot of fish.

I talked with the same Walt that others have talked to.  He sounds like a very nice guy and agreed to give me a refund no questions asked (what company gives a refund no questions asked?)  I'm trying to do some further research, but it sounds like Lose Weight Systems and Revenueworx are the companies behind this, and Adipose Rx and our nice friend Walt are only the fulfillment company in the case of these orders.

Revenueworx is implicated in many other scams - see the report here: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/209/RipOff0209758.htm#191974

They claim to only be a fulfillment company as well.  I get the feeling there is this web of companies all claiming to only be fulfillment companies to disguise the source of this credit card fraud.  People - please file FBI reports along with the rest of us!  We need to shut down these fraudsters.
