- Lawhun replies to tiredI just called them and now it says it can take up to 60 days!! Why don't they just give it 365 days just to be sure it's clear!! What a scam. I bet it don't take 60 days to get your name on the list.
- HydrantmanTry this... answer the call and immediately start punching the # key several times then hang up. This screws up their computer and the calls stop.
- ryan18004461022 they got my number when i was living in the states. Now they call my Canadian number non stop. I don't have a portable so I have to get up every time they call. Because I have a Canadian number I can't get it put on the do not call registry. Someone needs to put these people down like the parasites they are. I used to think I could never hate a human being as much as I hate kiddie rapers but now i know telemarketers are right up there. All you whack jobs that wanna shoot up schools, please do us all a favor and shoot up a telemarketing office instead.

- tiredofcalls| 1 replyI took the advice of calling back and pushing 2 to get us off of the telemarketing list. Hopefully this helps. They call constantly. My husband and I both have an HSBC card so I don't know if that is how they get through the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.

- PJThis number must have my number on automatic speed dial. I get at least six calls a day. I am sick of it. Whatever happened to the do not call list. I am on it and still these idiots call!!!!
- John RicketsonThese people have called 5 times in the past two days. If its true that these people are running some kind of scam, they need to be stopped.
- Annoyed replies to tiredofcallsI just called and chose option 2 to ave my number removed from their calling list. There was a message stating that it could take up to 60 days to have my number removed from the list. WHAT?! They have got to be kidding me. I will curse one of them out by then.
- SteamedBelieve it or not there is now a web site about this number, more info and what you can do. http://800-446-1022.com/

- MapleDragonfly replies to Helpful infoIf you do business with them, or have within the past year, they are exempt from the "Do Not Call" list. I hate it. I've gotten about 20 calls in the past few days, but I REFUSE to pick it up! It is incredibly annoying; I will be closing my Union Plus account soon. If Ameriquest uses this number also, well, I've written to them numerous times to tell them to remove me from the mailing lists (I sometimes got 3 of the same letter on the same day!) as well as their calling lists. They didn't stop until I cc'd my state's Attorney General. I encourage you to register with the www.donotcall.gov website; it really made a difference as to how many unwanted calls I was getting; within a month the number of calls dramatically drops.
- MapleDragonfly replies to tiredofHSBCThese people must be incredibly STOOOOPID to think that we'd want to do additional business with them when they have called us nearly 30 times in the past 4 days. I am trying to recover from recent surgery, and another telephone call from them disturbing my rest just makes me want justice. Their attempts are EXCESSIVE and UNREASONABLE! They are exempt from the Do Not Call directory because I do have a credit card with them, but it will soon be closed!
- DotCalls over and over. Who is it?
- stefnyThey call us at least 10 times a day and last week my dad finally answered the phone and the guy wanted us to get in touch with the guy who lives across the street! We don't even know that guy! WHY IS HE CALLING US?!

- joeypaige replies to Zach| 8 repliesCall them back. Call them back at the same number: 1-800-446-1022. You will hear an automated voice offering you different options. When I called them, the option I wanted was option # 2. (Listen carefully as they may have changed things.) Option # 2 is suppose to remove you from their call list. The automated voice will warn you that it can take up to 30 days for this to take effect. This is automated... you will not talk to a live person.
- Mrs VI called the number back and it gives you an option to have your number removed from HSBC's telemarketing department. Recording said it could take up to 30 days for removal.

- chris replies to Jonive gotten numerous calss so i set my fax machine to answer them and guess what? no more calls guess they didnt like all that squeeling the fax does ...lol
- The Forward Master ------> --------->I was getting the daily calls, with my answering machine picking it up and someone with a foreign accent picking anyway and saying, "Hello, Hello..... I'm looking for" blah, blah, or usually just hanging up. This was getting very annoying so what I did was forward the 18004461022 number to itself. This works great for me as I get a brief ring telling me that this particular call is being forwarded. I enjoy the fact that they are calling themselves and listening to their corporate voice line.
How did I do that? Well I have VOIP and call forwarding of a particular number is available standard. I'm sure regular phone services have same features.- Caller: HSBC
