When they called here they asked for a man who doesn't work here.  I told her that.  She asked for a woman with the same last name as the man, I told her the same thing.  She asked for a third person.  I had to repeat myself again. "What number am I dialing?"  She didn't know what number she'd dialed?!  They've called here several times already this week. I get tired of it.

COMPLAINT FILED WITH CALIFORNIA AG TODAY, AND PRIOR TO FEDERAL LE AGENCES RE:TWO THOUSAND PHONE CALLS ARE ENOUGH!

SCAM WITHIN THE BIGGER BOFA SCAM.

LOAN MOD/SHORT SALE/IDENTITY THEFT SCAM: involving, BANK OF AMERICA (what a surprise)

This is a complaint that follows one we are filing with Federal LE. We are senior citizens in Sacramento and for the last EIGHT months have been harassed by (1) Bank of America (2) Call Centers for Bank of America (3) Titanium Solutions o/b/o Bank of America and (4) others acting on behalf of Bank of America, who REFUSE to identify their organizations.

They (BofA, Call Centers, Titanium) call our landline private phone number, asking for a KIRK SIKLIN or Thicklin (sic). They refuse to spell the last name, hang up on us when we ask for the correct spelling.

They (all numbers listed below) have refused to remove our phone number from their call list, claiming they don't have it. When we ask how did they call us, they claim it is a robocall. We were given the number to a Bank of America rep, who refused to remove our phone number, without getting other private information.

When we actually do take these harassing phone calls in person, we are asked our name, telephone number and address. We refuse to give this to them, as this is private, they tell us they won't stop calling us until they get our private information.

We believe they are part of an identity fraud/mortgage scam/loan fraud/short sale scam scheme that goes way beyond what the Feds are bearing down on BofA. We believe they are trying to scam financial information of people who have intact financial backgrounds.

We have received over TWO THOUSAND phone calls, robocalls, and others from BofA/Titanium/other repro short sale intermediaries for BofA between March 2012 todate:

    Most calls are from:
    1-800-451-6362
    1-877-430-1434
    1-480-457-3399

This week, they have passed our phone number to KRAFT REAL ESTATE phone number (916) 751-0507.

The KRAFT employee (female)who left two messages indicated she was an agent for Kraft, and was working on a LOAN MODIFICATION for KIRK SICKLIN or THICKLIN.

We spoke to her today, and asked how how she got our phone number which is unlisted, that we are not KIRK SICKLIN. She said she got it from a Kraft RE sheet she was working off.

She said she would note this is not the correct number and we told her (because this has gone to Federal LE) she needs to do better than note it, to call the head of Kraft RE, since they will now be involved.

We had told her Kraft RE has a good reputation in Sacramento and would hate to see them drawn into an investigation and she needed to talk to the head of Kraft RE.

She then stated she never indicated this was for Kraft, she was working with TITANIUM SOLUTIONS. She repeated she was not working for Kraft. (Her caller ID indicate Kraft RE.)We admonished her calls were monitored, she had left voicemails indicating such, including the deadline for the loan mod was today, and so we told her we can prove she was lying. She then hung up on us.

This is more than just phone harassment, this is part of a bigger mortgage loan/short sale scam.

We have, and have had nothing to do with Bank of America, we have no contracts with Bank of America or any of their affiliates, legal entities or associates or vendors or subcontractors, because they are always in the media, discovered to be disreputable, shady, criminal-minded scamsters.

Our private phone number has been private for YEARS, until we gave it out to do a lot of volunteer work PRO BONO with (omitted)  in Sacramento - around the same time this Bank of America phone nightmare began.

    RESOLUTION:
We would like to seek financial damages from BofA, we want Titanium added to the investigations into BofA, and would like a judge to order them to pay $1,000 per harassing phone call.

Here is the message I got:

"866-849-9310.  Our office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 9:00pm Eastern Time, Saturday from 8:00am to 12 noon Eastern Time, and Sunday from 12 noon to 9:00pm Eastern Time.  Again the number is 1-866-849-9310. If you believe you have received this message in error please call toll free 1-877-447-3990 to speak to an associate who can assist you further. This is not a sales or solicitation message.  Thank you."  My mom has a home loan through Bank of America and she has her monthly payments automatically deducted and as of right now she is not late.

Ok and what office is open at 11:00 at night?  We got this call tonight, a Sunday night at 8:18pm PACIFIC TIME!  The message stated their office hours are 12 - 9pm Eastern time on Sunday.  They must have turned on the robocaller when they left the office.

    BOA CUSTOMER
800-699-6650 UN AVAILABLE is what my caller ID says.  Why does it not say BOA or something legitimate.  I really think this is a scam.  if there is a problem I would have gotten a notification from BOA.  I google the number and nothing linking it back to BOA except scams.  Very mysterious call saying she could not tell me anymore till she verifies my info.  FU!

Agree Glen and others above are trying to squelch the scam, why would they take the time to post here if they did not have a problem with these calls?  they are phishing for your ss numbers, just like an email scam. Don't fall for it!!

Glenn, I have 4 types of accounts with BOA. Got a call from 800 222 9944. It all sounded ligit until the caller asked for some personal info. I wouldn't give it to him. He gave me a call back number, 800 451 6362. When I asked him what this was about, he said he couldn't discus with me unless I could identify myself. I reported it to BOA using the customer service # on my cc card. All my accounts are paid promptly. Don't know why you seem to be so convinced it ligit. I thinks its a scam. I plan on stopping by my BOA  local account rep to complain.

I am getting daily calls from people who say they are from Bank of America asking for conformation of information. When I refuse they ask me to call this number. BOA is unaware of any issues with my accounts- apparently this is Phishing.

My wife received a call from them today asking to talk to her or me about an issue.  Cryptic.  Wouldn't give her details without her confirming further info about the accounts.  They gave her a number to call back to (18004516362) and it was a voicemail tree asking for confirmation in form of whole SSN and bank account number.  About as pfishy as it gets.

This is a collections number for customer's HELOC, Overdraft Accounts, Unsecured Lines of Credit, Personal Lines of Credit, or 2nd mortgages/liens, etc. If you get a call from this number or the number is given to you from another number, you owe a DEBT with BofA. Debt debt debt. Pay up people.

Collection efforts will continue on a debt until the debt is paid. Not harassment. Pay your bills, and you won't have any problems.  Period. Or send a cease+desist letter and follow their procedures on how they accept them.

He left his number so you can call him back to dicuss your debt with BofA. Collections won't necessarily leave a message on the 1st attempt, nor would they release ANY information regarding the account.

Depending on when your intensions are  - they will still call you. If you owe 2 months, and your intensions are for one..? Yea right, of course they would still call! YOU OWE MONEY!. If your intensions are to pay next month when you will be due for soon 2 months, DUH OF COURSE THEY WILL CALL. The only time they will not call is if you satisfy the delinquency completely and pay in a 'reasonable' time frame.

Are you [***]? If that number is calling you - and you call a number different number, not linked to that number, that department of course will see your account is up to date or whatever! - BECAUSE THAT IS NOT THE ACCOUNT THEY ARE TALKING TO YOU ABOUT - or trying to talk to you about. You will be credit reported and you probably have late fees. Call the damn number and deal with your debt. People are so ignorant.

You may not have a mortgage but you could have an old/ or new line of credit, heloc account, or overdraft protection. Stop being ignorant and pay your damn bill. That number is for collections moron. Hope your credit gets ruined.

Collection efforts vary per state laws. 90% of states allow no more than 7 attempts per day for collections and a message is only left during certain time of the day. Pay your bills and you won't have any problems.

You are a F moron if you think everything is ok if you don't call them back. If your accounts are paid up, you may still owe interest on the account that will continue to grow and possibly ruin your credit. I hope it does, since you are a very ignorant person.

They say they are calling from the HELOC department  - but little do you know.. they service more than just those accounts. They service persona lines of credit, 2nd mortgages, overdraft protection accounts. You probably owe interest on your account - pay up.
