Caller is identifying himself as John Richter and asking you to verify your ssn and other personal info.  When asked who he is and why he is calling, he just repeats his name and says this involves a personal matter.

Someone called me from this number upon my cellphone- I am under sixteen. Your aage is irrelivent. DO NOT ANSWER that call.

Funny, i got a call from 800-462-3808 w/ an extension# 2394 and ref# but when I call and enter ext#, I am on eternal "hell" hold.....?
Also, they asked for my business partner from across the country..- not me...

I am getting numerous calls from this number asking for Brett.  I assured the woman that there was no one here by that name and I never even knew anyone by that name.

I'm getting really fed up with this!  What can be done?  Who are these people?

I just got now answer and I too was on the cell phone.

no one is on the other end. I get the call at the same time Monday through

Every day I get this number calling on my cellphone which I purchased this week!!  I don't believe the caller knows who (s)he is calling and just goes down a list of any possible numerical combinations.

I am on the cell phone do not call list. Why is this number calling me? Is there something I can do.

AHHH, This number says its Southwest credit systems. I googled them. Its some kind of collection agency so it says.

this number has called me soooo many times.  they ask for my sister.  but they only said her first name.  most of the time i'm not around to answer.  whenever i call back it says all agents are busy and to stay on the line.  does anyone know what to do???  i'm so irritated.

Also, if they call again, tell them they are to "cease communication" with you. If they keep calling after that, find yourself a consumer law attorney who works on contingency to discuss the matter. You can find attorneys through these links:

No one was on the line when I answered my cell. This is has been happening once a day for about 1 week now.

Called me on my cell today. The only compnay that has my cell humber is AT&T so I think this company collectes for AT&T \ Dish Network (and probably many other companies). Seems like AT&T passed them all my personal information when I disconnected for collection purposes. Don't think I ever want to deal with AT&T ever again if they treat personal information so freely.

I now have a posative ID on this company. It is Southwest Credit Systems - another bottom feeder. If you wany sweet revenge just tell them what you think....
