I am just going to start lying and telling everyone who calls that I am not the person they are calling.  I am an honest person who is trying to do the right thing, but apparently that is not enough.  They want my kidneys, too.  I give up.  It seems that young, able-bodied adults are getting welfare, food stamps, and free apartments while I am busting my butt trying to make a living and keep what I own.  I suffer from severe depression and am bipolar.  I can't take much more.

Yep - Southwest Credit Systems collecting for AT&T. Called my parents number. I don't even live there. Another number for SWC is 888-778-8213.

This phone number is a collection agency in Columbus Ohio. Yes I received a similar call from them...they called, I answered and no one was on the other end. I did a reverse look up on whitepages.com and found out the office number, called back and had them remove my number before I sue them for harassment. They havent called since!

I have received a call two days in a row now. The first I didn't answer, but no msg was left. Today I answered, but no one responded on the other end. If it is a collection agency, they may be calling about my mother's past due bill, not mine, but I can't help them if they don't answer the phone...

Received a call on my cell phone looking for Roger.  None here.  Female calling.  Hung up.  Didn't give her a chance to ask

I just called the number back... couldn't understand the recording... heavy British accent.  Said they were trying to collect a debt and the calls were being recorded.  Hung up

THESE PEOPLE ARE SUCH SCAMMERS!!! DONT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO TO THEM!!!

I got something in the mail claiming that I had received "two round trip airline tickets to any major international airport anywhere in the continental USA" They told me to claim this I had to call 1-800-462-9808 (the same number that you guys have been scammed with) They also said that if I responded quickly I would also get a complimentary 3 day/ 2 night bonus vacation getaway. Definitely sounds like a scam right?

But it gets better. It said it was from the division of revenue department of funding and it was a "bailout form 2009". The company that was going to provide this was "Global Vacation" located in Florida. If the government was going to give me a "bailout" then they would most likely give me cash or something not a VACATION!!! How would me going on a vacation help "bailout the economy".

obviously most of you guys have had problems with this number being from some debt collector or something, so this is OBVIOUSLY somebody that is just taking advantage of people and trying to get personal information from you. DONT TELL THEM ANYTHING because if they are willing to go through all this trouble just to get your information, imagine what they will do with it once they get it!!!!

Freaking Colletors trying to collect a debt from AT&T. they screwed me by selling me there U-verse package but when they came to install it they said there was no fiber optic in my area. but the phone service was already turned on so when I called AT&T they said I had to wait till the service was availble in my area and they would install it. "Hell no" I said, come take your phone service out of here and you can stick the bill in your fiber hole. Now this idiot calls me trying to get the bill payed. Never.

I just got the call.  They are calling the wrong person.  First of all.   I am in a debt consolidation program and will happily be out in one year.  I will owe NO ONE.  These people tell me they won't take me off their list unless I give them my social security number.  CRAZY ASS MF.  I feel sorry for the guy that is so desperate to work that he will work for this company. I've been working my ass off to pay off my debt.  I put my name on the national do not call list.  What they are doing is fraudulent.  I called back Fred at 888-778-8213 ext 2347 .  They hung up on me.  Good riddens

I got a call from this number so I called them back and they were a collection agency for AT&T. They were looking for my brother on an unpaid cell phone bill.

Very friendly courteous people attempting to collect a valid debt. Pay your bills, and if you can't - as I couldn't for some time due to joblessness - the very least you can do is make small payments through them. Absolutely stupid expensive payment stuff though - they want $11 PER PAYMENT as a "transaction fee" if you pay through them over the phone, but the lady I spoke with was kind enough to conference me in and make a payment through a fee-free automated system on my behalf.

So if you're so happy with their "service" why are you looking up their number on this site?

Only one reason we see posts like yours -- YOU WORK THERE. Hope you're joblessness kicks in again soon so you will stop scamming people.

I received a call every day from this company. Most of the time I am at work. This has been going on since October of 2009. The bill i am being harrased about was paid in august. I went to the at&t store three time with the bill, come to fine out the money was posted on the wrong acct. I was told it takes 72 hrs for the money to be transfer to the correct acct and i would received a letter stating the bill was paid. This was at&t error. This is also on my credt record. AT & T service has gone down hill. By the way I spoke someone at this company and got no were with them.

How about this, they call me on my AT&T cell about a debt owed on my AT&T cell account. Don't they think AT&T would have cut my service if I really owed them money?!?

Is this really a number from a debt collector agency? If it is, then it's a scam because I don't have any debts. And this person who called me asked for Mandy Moore. WTH.

I also got a call from this number (8004623808) asking for Mindy Moore. I told them everytime that I don't know such person. How can I block this number from calling me?
