800-480-2265

Call received at 1PM on 3/24/09. Left no messaage. I have no idea who it might be.

I was given this phone number to call and verify that the woman I was talking to worked for Huntington down in Columbus Ohio.  The email that I was originally sent by this woman shows up on Huntington Bank's website as a fraudulent email.  DO NOT believe that this phone number is a valid Huntington Bank number and do not give out any of your personal information to anyone at this number.

The number is legit; they just forgot to tell the branches. Our teller said Huntington never calls for personal info. Then she verified that, well, yes, apparently they do. She is checking what info they need and we are going personally to the branch and providing it.

I'm an employee of Huntington National Bank. This number is legit. You can find this number on our website and the back of our debit cards.

Got call then voicemail (automated message). Appears it is Huntington Bank. Wants me to call their New Connections team at 800-282-4228. Others say this second phone number is legit.

I received the same call saying that I needed to call 800-480-8842 in regards to a recent charge on my debit card.  I called the number, different from the original call received from  800-480-2265, and spoke with a customer representative.  I was only asked my name and to verify my address.  There was a new Grace Period program initialized and they’ve had some new verification laws they needed to read to me before it could be applied to my account.  Again, the only information that I gave out was my name and verification of my address, which leads me to believe everything is legit, especially checking the numbers beforehand.

I got a voicemail call from this number a day after opening an acct At Huntington Bank Identifying the caller as a representative form the bank and when I redialed, it clearly stated that it was Huntington Bank's Toll Free Customer Service line. DOn't know why everyone seems confused as to the caller origin.

Why are they calling my cell phone 3 times within mins. of each other?  I don't even have an account with Huntington!

I received a 3 calls 10 min apart from this 800-480-2265 number but did not answer them. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.  Caller didn't leave a message.  I do not have an account with Huntington Bank.  8/2/12

I received a text on my cell phone from this number.  I do not bank with Huntington Bank.  I don't know why I'm getting a text from them.

Got a text to call these [***].  Did not ask for them text my phone. Do NOT do business with them!! Phishing!

I also got a text to call.  I'm from Iowa.  No Huntington Bank anywhere close.  No idea why they'd be calling me either.  If it's computer generated, why are they even calling someone from this far away and outside their primary trade area?

I recieved similar call..how did they know I bank at hunington as that is the bigger question

The number (800) 480-2265 IS Huntington Bank.  800-480-BANK.

Got a call from someone named crystal stating she had urgent information about my account, 1-800-480-2265. Called my local branch, my account is fine. Don't give out any information!

I keep getting emails from this so called The Huntington National Bank at 41 South High Street, Columbus, OH 43215 BUT there is no bank at this address.  There are 3 Huntington banks on High Street but not at this address.

SCAM.     BTW I don't have an account with this bank either.

They are calling my phone non stop saying i have a charge from a Walgreen on my account but i have not been to Walgreen and i got my debit card on hand. Yes this is Huntington Bank toll free number IDK how they are doing it but they are using the real Toll free number calling to scam.When I asked to call them back acting as my sister instead of myself they said no because its only 1 person in the office available so they will call me back and they sure did call me back. Funny part is im on hold with Huntington as they are calling me because I called the number back  because its ofc the number on their website. Now as far as the person on the phone , First person called was a deep voice guy then he tried to disguise his voice as a woman (Mrs. Doubtfire). When called back thinking i hung up on him, i was on the phone listening. Since i don't know where they are calling form exact i cant really do much. I will def call Huntington and let them Monday as

seem to be blissfully ignorant of caller id spoofing. You should correct that problem.

Don't answer this call they spoofed Huntington's number and ruined my account
