This company has been calling my job,and I've had no dealing with this
company. They claim some money has been deposited in my bank account. And
the teller and my bank told me,there's nothing been deposited in my acc-
ount by this company.Matter of fact,I haven't even signed or agreed on
anything with this company.I wish you would have them stop calling my job
at Viskase Corp. in Osceola,Ar..In fact, they don't appreciate AML keep
calling my work place. It's very, very frustrating to get calls on your job,
and you bit more don't know who the people are.

These people say they are from AmeriLoan and that they deleted my phone number from their registry.  Another number is 800-503-0165.

My phone number has been used by a person named Amber H--or it used to be her phone. The phone number is new to me. Apparently Amber takes out loans using a variety of last names and doesn't pay them back. United Cash Loan has the same name that Ameri Loan does. ARB had the name Amber Nicola which is a different last name. I get collection calls for her on my new cell daily. How do I stop them!

I got a message at work from them also saying they are AML.  It was a Jenny Thomas that called the only place I can think they are calling about is Ameriloan.  She referred to an e-mail I got and that is the only one I can figure that it could belong to.

Getting a lot of calls from this number. I never pick up. I know it's a scammer. I've been getting scam calls, due to the fact of getting scammed in June '2010.
Everyone beware. You can also file an online internet complaint at www.toogoodtobetrue.com - I have several complaints there myself.
These people are based out of India, and somehow someway they get USA area codes and just start dialing. Be careful!
It's AML or Ameriloan. Never did receive a loan from this company.

quote from fair debit collection practices act passed by the federal trade commission:

§ 805. Communication in connection with debt collection
    (a) COMMUNICATION WITH THE CONSUMER GENERALLY. Without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt—
    (1) at any unusual time or place or a time or place known or which should be known to be inconvenient to the
    15 USC 1692b consumer. In the absence of knowledge of circumstances to the contrary, a debt collector shall assume that the convenient time for communicating with a consumer is after 8 o’clock antimeridian and before 9 o’clock postmeridian, local time at the consumer’s location;
    (2) if the debt collector knows the consumer is represented by an attorney with respect to such debt and has knowledge of, or can readily ascertain, such attorney’s name and address, unless the attorney fails to respond within a reasonable period of time to a communication from the debt collector or unless the attorney consents to direct communication with the consumer; or
    (3) at the consumer’s place of employment if the debt collector knows or has reason to know that the consumer’s employer prohibits the consumer from receiving such communication.
    (b) COMMUNICATION WITH THIRD PARTIES. Except as provided in section 804, without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector, or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, or as reasonably necessary to effectuate a postjudgment judicial remedy, a debt collector may not communicate, in connection with the collection of any debt, with any person other than a consumer, his attorney, a consumer reporting agency if otherwise permitted by law, the creditor, the attorney of the creditor, or the attorney of the debt collector.
    (c) CEASING COMMUNICATION. If a consumer notifies a debt collector in writing that the consumer refuses to pay a debt or that the consumer wishes the debt collector to cease further communication with the consumer, the debt collector shall not communicate further with the consumer with respect to such debt,

this number called my house today, I have had calls from AML recovery before and I normally just ignore because we do NOt recieve loans!
well after they called, I decided to call them back
    the woman answered simply "hello?"

I said "yes ma'am, this number showed up on my caller ID and I was just wondering what this was about?"

she replied "we are looking for (stated my elderly mothers name)"

and I said "no she is not available, may I ask what is your company name?"

    she said simply "AML"

I then said "may I ask what it is your company does?"

and SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!

    very professional, huh?!

A man named Jay called our office looking for an employee. He was very rude and played dumb when I asked what the call was regarding. The man he asked for is a maintenance man and makes frequent calls to vendors so I thought it minght be about an order or something really important. When he didn't give me the information I asked him what his company was and again he played dumb. I can appreciate a debt collectors job. They need to get their money but not at the expense of being ugly to someone who didn't borrow the money. I did call and speak to his "supervisor" but who knows if they even care

it's a scam. they are trying to get money from you that you don't owe. they keep calling my place of business and asking for my employee, who has never gotten any loans at all, ever. Just be careful who you give information to. I keep telling my employee to call them and tell them that if they don't stop calling the place of business, he will sue them. that helps for the most part. The first scam like this was from a different loan company, which is not real. I can't emphasize enough to be careful. this is definitely a scam.

They continuously call our work place even though I continuly tell them that the workers are not allowed personal business calls. They leave a name number and AML as the business name. I don't care what they want they  need to reach the individuale another way.

They are trying to acquire personal information to "verify" the information they say they have on you, such as birthdate and social security number. I have never had a loan with them. This appears to be a scam.
