Called then hung up when I answered

saying the are from Microsoft, super scammer from india trying to tell you your computer have viruses... saying the are from Microsoft... i gave him the run around for about 1 minutes then cursed at him and he immediately hanged up.

They have called from different numbers the past two days, yesterday at 7:25 a.m. CST and today at 6:48 a.m. CST!!! How do you report this?

if you ever get a call from these idiots telling you "they have detected viruses on your computer" do like I do ay "how can you do that when I don't even have electricity?" and they quickly hang up and don't call back

Left no message.

Answered and some guy from India that talked with marbles in his mouth saying he was from Microsoft and wanted to talk to me about my computer.  I told him I didn't have a computer and didn't know why he was calling me.  He hung up.  What a scam.

When I get a call from a number I do not know I answer it in a variety of ways such as "County Morgue how may I help you"  or I tell them to speak with my husband because he is a computer technologist. I stop receiving phone calls for a short period of time.

Same scam. Indian guy saying he was from Microsoft. I told him I ran a scan with my McAfee virus protection and my computer was fine. I didn’t even get to finish the sentence before he hung up.

Computer scam told them I had a Mac book pro and they hung up.

I did something very similar and said and please tell me how you can tell than since I don’t own a computer! But didn’t stop the calls they called back in a few days I just don’t answer any more phone numbers I don’t recognize or that don’t leave a message

just got a call from the india guy, total scam.  he wants me to get in front of my computer and he will tell me what to do to get rid of the virus we supposedly have.  Told him nope i'm reading all the bad comments about you right now.  This is a total scam, and I hung up!

same India guy stating he was from Microsoft.  I said I don't even have a computer but thanks for trying to scam me and hung up.

No message left, but they called *before* 8am!

Telemarketers claiming they're from Microsoft and that they have been getting warnings that there are problems coming from a computer that I would own. They have no idea what type of computer I had or if it was even a laptop or a desktop. They'll just guess! They're very aggressive and will try and convince you to just go on your computer and they are going to show you where the problem is. Only thing is once you type in the mall code they give you they're in your computer and they take it over! Don't fall for this. I did many years ago and they're still getting people

I answered the phone, said "hello" and it was some guy speaking in another language.   No idea what they wanted or anything.  Hung up on the idiot!

Realized it was a scam, called him out on it and hung up, he called me back to curse at me. Seriously?!

It's 7:07 am! The only reason I'm awake is because I had to get my daughter off to school. My phone rang four times and then stopped. No message was left. Thank you everyone for posting that it's a Microsoft scammer.

Received a call from 800-505-6505. Man with a thick indian accent told me that my microsoft computer has been shooting codes to them that it has downloaded viruses. I asked him how did he get my phone number, what is my name, what country is he calling from, and he completely ignored me. Kept repeating same thing to me, urging me to turn my computer on and he would show me how to delete those viruses affecting my computer. -after three minutes of nonsense, i told him i don't own a computer. And he immediately hung up. !!!Scam alert!!!

Calling saying they are from Microsoft

Foreign accent male called saying Microsoft has gotten messages from my computer possibly from a virus and offered to help me trouble shoot. When the asked me to get in front of the computer and turn it on I said it would be hard because I don’t have windows computer... They hung up. Let’s see if they call back and try Mac next time. Mine is a Linux coming computer btw haha
