I got a voice mail from this number and the guy said it was of utmost importance that I call him back, that my son was using my personal contact information as his own and "given the seriousness of the matter," I should call back right away.  My son is in the Marines so I called him and played the message for him and he had NO IDEA who these people were or what the "matter" was even about.  So together over the phone we googled the number and found this page.  Deleting and ignoring the voice mail!  Thanks so much to everyone here who gave their input, it was really helpful!!

I have received about ten phone calls or so from this company. Each time, they say that they are looking for my EX husband. Can he even put me down as a reference after our divorce? Additionally, each time I speak with them, they tell me they have taken me off their call list, which has proven itself to be a lie. Is there somewhere I can report these people to?

This number called today and the person did not identify himself but immediately asked for SGT so-and-so. Don't know that person whatsoever.
Hope that'll be the end of getting their calls. How annoying!

Yes they have called me. They are a scam. The military does not call you to collect debt. Do not give out your loved ones information, now or ever.

I get this call quite often but never answer.  They leave a message for someone who I don't even know.  It comes up on my ID as "Unknown" but they give this number to call back.  I am not about to call back to tell them they have a wrong number.  The bad thing is since it shows up "Unknown" there is no way (that I know of) to block it from my cell phone.  I never answer unknown callers.  Quite annoying.

The person they asked for is a friend but not connected to my phone in anyway.  They have called 8 days apart and left the same message.

Today, 15 March 2017 at 12:21 MDST time an Unknown female caller, called my cellphone and called me ______ ________ (not my name!).  Since I have received a number of calls from this same number each month since September 2016, ALWAYS either calling me by the (not my name) or asking for (not my name) - and each time I have explained that (not my name) has NEVER been associated with my number and that I expect the company to remove my number from (not my name)'s account.  EACH time I have been assured that my number WILL be removed.....and OBVIOUSLY it has NOT been removed!!!  I have never told the representatives my name.....they are rude, impatient, and VERY direct.  The representatives refuse to tell me who they work for.....why they continued to call my number....etc. - and each time they refuse to answer MY questions!!

I was a dependent of a career military person....but, I have not served in any branch of our military.  I do NOT owe this company any money!  I have reported this company's number to the Federal Trade Commission - so, HOPEFULLY they will stop harassing me!!!!

Someone called from 816-960-2458 and left the call back of 800-538-2458 ext 2458. He was asking for Verico J_____ "This is (garbled) please call 816-960-2458 ext 2458.  Again this is Joseph. (like he had mentioned it before, he didn't)...

Not true I don't have any debts and they called me! Told them the name of my lawfirm and they hung up! These people should be sued!

Get a lawyer and sue them! What they are doing is against the law, its a scam.

Left a message claiming to be Amazon. It was a scam. They use fear, threats and intimidation to get any information from you. They may know your name, your family members names, a bit of information about you, all to gain your trust that the call is authentic. Once this is accomplished, they will try and obtain social security numbers, credit card and bank account numbers, etc. It is holiday time and please be cautious. Even if they identify themselves with an immediate relatives name. Tell them you will call them back and hang up. If you are still concerned, please call your local police department, for a second opinion! Protect yourself from quite believable scamming operations.
