People in our neighborhood are getting a call from someone who claims to be from our utilities company, SDG&E. The caller claimed that the answering person's electricity was about to be cut off, and asked for credit card or bank account payment by calling this number, 800-548-0620. SDG&E says that they do not use this telephone number. Be aware that the person calling with this script is attempting to scam you!

We received a call at our place of business in Murfreesboro TN from 1 800 548 0620 saying our electric bill was overdue and it would be shut off in 30 minutes if we didn’t pay, but thank God for google. This isn’t a scam suspicion, it is a complete scam!

Claims to be Puget Sound Energy with notice of pending disconnection of services.  HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PEOPLE.  I know it's not advised, but from our commercial line I attempted to call back just to waste their time.  For a filthy scammer, they do a pretty good job on the fake greeting when you dial.  I feel sorry for the suckers who believe them.  As mentioned on another post: "scam suspicion" is insufficient.  This is full blown SCAM with and it makes my physically ill.

Call from 800-548-0620  these people wanting to disconnect my eletric, Wanted me to go to Walgreens or CVS and buy a money card. Scam...

Do not call people. They called me from 800 752-6633 telling me my Con-Edison Bill is past due. And that I needed to call them back at  800-548-0620 ASAP or they will cut off my power.

I don't even have Con Edison where we live.
