I received BOTH a text message and voicemail message asking me to call Bell Canada. The full text message was as follows:
"Hi my name is Mrs Sam calling from Bell Canada regarding your business phone number 6196528532 (not a number I have ever had). Just call it's really important to call back today or tomorrow about the May 14th before 4:30. The number to reach us is 18005619825. 18005619805. Thank you."

The second number with the last "2" changed to a "0" was just stuck in there randomly.. The phone message asked me to call the first number..

HOWEVER, neither of these messages actually came from 800-561-9825, but from 877-340-5488...

I was immediately suspicious, and after reading this page certainly will not be bothering to call the number.

Its just an automated phone call from Bell Canada reminding you that your bill is past due. Instead of cutting your phone off, they send out this phone call to give you a soft nudge to pay your bill.

I called a legitement Bell phone number and asked about this number.  they comfirmed it is a bell number.  I think it may be a 3rd party contact centre working for them, as they did not verify any information with me and gave me account details.....

Man with very heavy French accent called, said it was very important that our business manager call as soon as possible to make an appt re [our business number]. Suspicious by nature, I googled the number and landed here.

Received message Dec. 12, 2013 from this number saying it is from Bell credit services (if I heard right). I do not have any unpaid bills with Bell. the man spoke with an accent extremely fast, almost impossible to take note of the phone number. I am certainly not going to call back!

This is the second time I got a call, saying they had important information regarding a mobile account number (514) 737-1535, which doesn't exist, and doesn't belong to me - will not call back.

Rec'd a message from a woman on VM, she indicated she was from Bell Canada and left instructions to call back by 4:00pm today, she gave todays date. Her message was recorded at 8:45 this morning, when no one would be in the office and she provided an account number that didn't have enough digits to be a phone number and it started with a zero lol. I won't be calling back.

Just received a call from this number.  Did not catch the lady's name, but she said she was calling from Bell Canada, looking for a selena (no one here by that name).  When I asked what it was regarding, she simply said "the business account", to which I replied "which one, we have multiple?".
She asked again to speak with someone, so I told her to hold on and hung up...

...we'll see if they call back.

Received a call..I did not answer but it wont search on reverse look ups except bell, sprint,at@t...why call a prepaid virgin mobile number [ bell owns virgin now] ..how can we get calls from unassigned numbers ??

Not surprised bell is one of the worst and most ridiculously run companies on earth...talk about stupid ..I mean the upper management of this company is frankly brain dead..must be worn out ex- politicians

received call from "bell Canada".  Woman with french accent wanting to speak with accounts payable. I googled the phone number and came across this page. Scam, scam, scam.

Call from "Bell Canada" to discuss a busines line. Said it was "very important" to call back. The woman had a heavy Indian accent. Did not call back after reviewing these posts.

Received a voice mail from a real human. (Indian Male).
Said that he is calling about bell account with (acutal phone number) and that we have automatic payment with a bank account with Bell. Calling to inform us that they have not taken any payment in the last 2 months and will be processing 3 months payment. You do not need to do anything but if you get a late payment give them a call and quotes this number. Call display "unknown."

They called to say they were Bell Canada and when I called the real Bell Canada, they said that number is a fake and not part of Bell.

Got the exact same message as everyone else. Thanks for your input. I will not be calling them back.

Just spoke with the real Bell Canada. They told me "No please do not call on those numbers wherein it is a spam call."

Number still active. When is the real bell canada going to stop these??
