this is a scam

they are incorporating different email addresses and websites some how - i received 2 text messages for the same thing each with different originating info. but the same phishing info. stating my account with Associated yada yada - like everyone else did - I call Customer Care and had the text messages originating from a computer blocked and gave customer care the info.  IMO the situation harms those who receive it, Associate, and the websites/email addresses they a culling to phish with ... ashame they aren't putting all that brain power to work toward something positive and beneficial

I'm in Madison and got it and so did my husband.  We're US Cellular customers but don't have any associated bank accounts.  Idiots.

Same as everyone.  In Madison, WI.  I don't give my cell number to anyone except friends so there is no connection between this and anything you would have done.  They are just sending it to an area code and likely every number that they know is a cell phone prefix.

I received a text message on my cell from 1-800-584-5892 services@associatedbank.com to call them back. Test message reads "Please verify your Associated Bank account(unusual activity), call us at 8005845892." Obviously it's a scam! I wonder why these people are not caught and castrated for their ill intentions.

Unusual activity call...same as the others being reported - to two co-workers at the same time on their cell phones.

Haha...Same here...  Live in Rochester, MN and have SPRINT, and they wanted me to verify my acocunt info!

I just wanted to clarify...you called customer care for your cell phone provider and you were able to have the txt messages blocked?

Got same message and went to Associated website. They have a phishing alert posted. www.associatedbank.com/Security/Phishing_Alert.asp

got a text that said unusual activity on account that i no longer have want more info on this

I called Associated Bank and this is a scam to get your information.  I don't even bank with Associated.

i live in oshkosh wi and i got the same message i was freaking out tried calling the number nothing happened besides a busy line then i heard on the radio its a scam so no one has to worry about it haha but yea its all [***] up

I live just outside of Rockford and I just recieved the same message.

I got the same message last week; please verify your associated bank acct unusual actvy, call us @ 800 584 5892 - when you call this number it will state that, "this number cannot be reached from your area."

-This is called fishing - do not respond via txt.
I didn't order anything overseas but, have ran surveys via the internet and had provided my cell phone number.

I just got the same message.  PLease put out the info on who ever is resposible for this. I'd like to give them a few odd numbers. .357 .45 .38 .223 .308. 30-06.

I received a text from james@wytelyon.com stating that I needed to verify my account information with Associated Bank due to unusual activity.  I called Associated Bank Customer Service.  They told me this is a scam and not to reply.  They stated they would never contact anyone for account information via text or e-mail.
