If they are calling your cell phone, block the number.  You can do that right in your phone.  It goes directly to voicemail. Your phone never rings.

I keep receiving a phone call on my cell phone asking me to call this 800 number.  I looked it up and found our it is from a loan company.  What can I do to stop them from calling me.  I never heard of them....

How do you do that? Please tell me.

These [***] got my # somehow and they call every day. My thought is how the F does a company afford to pay these tards to call and just hang up? One time, I actually got a women on the phone, who spoke ebonix and was extremely rude-shocker. I told her, I owned my own home, had a full time job, a credit score of 820 and little debt (other than mortgage) so why are you harraassing me?!? Of course, she tried to claim I owed them money-bahahahhaa and then proceeded to ask me for personal information.... Needless to say, I told her  to suck it and lose my # F'n losers.....

We have been getting about one per day in the evening around 8 PM. Finally I called the number the recording said (800-594-3426) and talked to a VERY nice guy who said he would remove my number. We'll see. Most the time these people are either idiots or [***] so it was a relief for someone being nice.

Just call them and ask to be removed.

I just received a call from this number. He says his name is Greg.. He was looking for my husband. I am reporting it.

3AM/4AM I RECEIVE CALLS FROM THESE 2 NUMBERS. 2348088466458 and 441268460042, THEY DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH AND THEY JUSY CALL-CALL-CALL. I AM GOING TO HAVE TO CHANGE MY NUMBER SO I CAN GET SOME SLEEP.

It is against federal law for them to contact you between I think the hours are 10pm to 7am so just call and file a complaint with the state attorneys office and the company can deal with a few thousand dollars in fines each time they call you.

I receive a call daily around 5pm from this number. They say I owe them money, I have asked for the last two years for verification in the mail or even an email so I can take this up to the police department (identity theft happened to me). I gave them a correct email address to contact me and they only send me a bill stating I owe $475 from 2007. Again I spoke to them and tell them I need the original documents and they said not until I pay this debt.

It's funny how these companies work. They have tried to tell me that I agreed to pay it when I never did. The only thing I have agreed on is to give them MY email address so I can report this. It has been 5 years since this debt and 3 years since they call me daily. I have reported them for harrassment but nothing has stopped them.

I am so tired of these people. I was at the police station the other day to find out how to file a complaint about them calling me and to figure out if someone actually used my information for this company. They called. The police officer got on the phone and the rep went off on him. I am a dead beat that doesn't pay my bills. Funny cause since 07 they said they have been calling me at this same number but I only got this phone number in 2000. I can not file a complaint with a "bill" that they keep emailing me. I told the rep that I need more then that she said I didn't have too.

Of course I said I can't take my cable bill up to the police department and file a claim saying someone is using my name to order cable.

I found a fax number and I will be sending them a fax and if I receive another call I will be filing harassment charges against them. They will not work with me.

I have sent over all the information to show that this was in dispute WITH a police report about my information was stolen when they said this was taken out, YET, they still call me. They call every day and I have it set up on my mobile phone to go right to voicemail.

I never gave them any information about bank accounts and stuff like that, just the police report and the fact the dates match their records. I was told they would no longer call me because of this. This was taken out 3 years ago and I sent everything over about 2 years ago. Every time they call now and I receive a voicemail from them I call back telling them to look into their records cause they are not to be calling me.

It's so cute that you believe they will really stop calling just because you asked. I was under that same delusional impression before when I called a phone number and asked them to stop calling me and they were so kind and helpful and assured me that they would take my number off their list and they continued to call for months. It's kind of like when you get the recorded message that says "press 9 to be removed from the list" and you press 9 and still get 3 or 4 calls a day.

these ppl keep calling 2 times a day and using my cell time to harrass me over someone i do not know. have asked them to add me to the do not call list have told them they have the wrong number called from another number that i blocked first and went off after about the third time of explaining to these idiots that i am not the MAN they are looking for i am in fact a Woman and i will start a harrassment suit if the calls continue. this is the 3rd time now that they have told me that the number has been removed from the list. the funny thing is they keep telling me that this is the number that he keeps giving him as his well if he keeps giving this number to them than they obviously have another number that they keep talking to him from so why dont they harrass that number instead of mine.

got a call from them. I don't pick it up they usually leave an automated voicemail. This time it sounded like the woman thought i picked up, but never said who she was calling on behalf.

These people  from 800-594-5239 have called twice a day for a couple of years.  It's a recorded call that says, "This call is for "Eva Pierce" and sometimes the name changes to another name.  Sometimes it's almost unintelligible.  Then the recording says, "if you are not this person, hang up now.  By not hanging up, we'll assume you ARE this person."   I could get an unlisted number but why should I?  Why should I be held hostage by these harassing phone calls?   I think they're a debt collection agency, but the names of the people they ask for keep changing.  Besides, I have no debt and an excellent credit rating.  These calls are not for me.  I'M SICK TO DEATH OF IT.
