It was Carson Pirie Scott Furniture calling to confirm my delivery time for an order I had placed.  Answer it next time they call.

Earlier post is correct.  This is a subcontractor furniture delivery service calling to either notify of delivery or check to determine your satisfaction with the service.  They service multiple furniture stores.  It appear to be a legitimate call, assuming you recently bought some furniture and were expecting it to be delivered.

When I called back, it stated it was a political call - to keep us informed of local, state and federal issues.

The call was from Carson Pirie Scott's furniture department, to confirm a delivery I had previously scheduled.

The only thing controversial about this call was between me and my wife discussing where to put our new bed! This was a company delivering our bed which we purchased from Boston Store
