All I know is that I paid them the money I owed after my bank account was frozen for non payment of an account that I had with them. Soldier

If this is Focus, They have called me 4-5 times in the last two weeks saying I owe them for a gas credit card.  I have gotten some info from them on an old visa credit card, but I haven't had a gas credit card since 1992.  I think this is a way of tricking me into calling them just to say they have the wrong information.  I am going to report them to the feds.  Do not call them back if they pull the same scam on you.

Pre-recorded message said "This call is for..." and then hung up.  Called on my cell, which is listed under "donotcall.gov".

People should post the names, addresses and phone numbers of the people that own & run these businesses.

My husband received a call from this same number on April 14 concerning a card that they say he owes $11,000 on that he never had. I have written them a letter stating that he never owned a visa card in that name, that someone used his information to open it and to not call or write to him again or we would seek action against them.

My boss has received many phone calls from this company which is called Focus Receivables. Yes he owed money to AT&T but we settled the debt with them directly. But they do keep calling and there is one person who is really nasty. Do not talk to these ppl, they are rude and very disrepectful. If you have a debt, deal with the company who you are in debt with.

It said this call is for  and then there was nothing there. They have called me for the last year. And most of you are right they are rude.

Sorry to bring back an old thread. They're calling me from this number now. They initially tried from (678) 228-3427, but I blocked that number.  I have 800 filters on my phone line, with a database of numbers associated with known collection agencies that are blocked.  They can call, but the phone won't ring!

Yep, they're chasing me.  [***] them.  BK court here I come!

I used to try to help people like that call needing stuff / money etc but NOW i do not even answer it if I do not know the number or recognize it because people take advantage of you and most of these unknown numbers turn out to be ..........well, crooked is what I would call it.

This company calls me at least 8 to 10 times a day. When I answer the phone, they would hang up. I call them back, they want answer the phone. They call as early as 7:30 am and as late as 11:pm

Is this company legitimate?  We received a call from them, and from a few other collection agencies this year.  But not because we owe anyone money but because we live in a three flat apartment house and are the only people at this address with a landline phone.

A reverse directory search will reveal that there is only one phone number associated with our address, my family’s.  Our neighbors don’t have landlines, only cell phones.

Usually when we receive a debt collector call, I call the company and tell them this.  I'm nice, they apologize for their mistake, and the phone calls stop.  Not so with Focus.  I called.  I told them nicely that they had been calling the wrong people.  Immediately I got a lot of attitude from the person I was talking too, along with a tirade about how they were running a business, and questions about if I knew the person they were looking for, etc.  

It’s like ‘how dare I disturb them for telling them that their calls are disturbing me, and would I mind telling my neighbor that he is a deadbeat.

These people are surreal.

Recieving calls on a cell phone that is on celldonotcall.gov. I don't answer calls that I don't know and they don't leave a message. I'm reporting them.

These people call, but when I pick up, a voicemail answers telling me that they are a collection agency and that I need to call them back between certain hours. I never call them back because I'm always on top of my bills, but the phone calls have gotten out of hands. They always call during the weekdays. I don't get their calls during weekends. This has been going on for about three months now. By now, I figured that if I have received a court order to pay someone, or if I haven't received a bill from a company that I know that I actually owe, then it must be a scam artist. But these calls are freaken annoying.  

Is there an address for them that anyone knows

I have gotten a phone call from this number every day for the past two months. So I did a check on it, an it's Focus management  and they are a scam. They call and try to get your information, saying you owe money. An they want you to pay with a debit card or bank account over the phone. They will not give you an address to mail a payment to, saying it would take to long to settle your debt that way. I have reported them to the BBB and I told them I was on the national registry do not call list. An they still keep calling. I called them and asked for a supervisor and they would not let me talk to one. So I told them again not to call my number and hung up. These people are scammers! Do not give them any information, because if they were legit they would already have the information they needed to send a bill in the mail.

Here is the address for them 1130 Northchase PKWY SE Ste. 150 Marietta, GA 30067-6420. I've been getting calls for the past two months. I found out they are a Scam, that's why they want you to pay over the phone. They are not with the BBB either. An they have thousands of complaints about harassing phone calls. An they are extremely rude when you call them on it.

After blocking the number they now call from an "unavailable" line several times a week. Robo-call scam regarding unknown and unverified debt.

Do not trust this company.  They are making illegal calls into Canada. They are not even a registered Collection Agency in most provinces.  They have to have federal & provincial permits in order do any collection activity ... They are NOT on the approved list ... this tells me they are scammers.
