When I asked what the call was in reference to, she did not respond and hung up on me-in my own home. RUDE and SKANKY.

This number is calling my cell phone about once an hour. If I do not answer, I see the same number on the caller ID here at work only a moment later. I answer the call, and no one is there !

- VERY NASTY COLLECTION COMPANY replies to Pissed Phone OwnerThis Company is a credit card collections company. They collect debts for many dif. card companies. They are very rude and will not tell you who they are with. By law they have to tell you who they are with if asked. It doesn't matter if they don't have the right #, if you ask them who they are with, they must tell you. I don't give anyone any of my information until I know who they are.

- TThey called me several times a day to the phone I answer at work (our main switchboard). Everytime I answer the caller hangs up on me, which is annoying. So I called them today and they are looking for an empolyee that no longer works here. They were very nice actually and removed my number from their file....hope it actually works.

- Mr. GrumpyThis number called my house 20 times and left no message. All my credit cards are current with no past due amounts. They must have got their list out of a garbage can or landfill. I wish I could do what the animals do in nature on their heads. Let's call them Da Bozos'

- teacher333Repeated calls, no messages. When I sent an email, complaining about their "collection" calls and the fact they call repeatedly and do not identify themselves, they began then saying they were a "card company" and available 24/7 to take my call.

- susan| 2 repliesMerrick continues to call a number which I sent a letter to them requesting not to call, phone is not in my name, I do not have a phone. Dispute with them in regards to charging me an over balance charge each month.. Amount which I had been paying has been above the min. required, yet each month bill continues to increase because of this over limit charge and interest they are charging.
Problem a few months ago, I was late due to being out of State. They called me and since I have auto pay through my bank I assured them I would send a payment via bank in a few days. They asked for my account number I assumed to verify which bank it would be comming from. Was never told they were going to withdraw funds. The next day my bank called to tell me because of what Merrick did, I bounced 4 checks at $35.00 per check...I informed my bank to stop payment to Merrick. As a result of this Merrick also charged me a fee for stoping the payment.
Untill Merrick removes these fees and over limit fees I have no intention of paying them another cent.- Caller: Merrick
- CINGEO replies to susanI can see your bank charging a stop payment fee, but the credit card company should not. I keep getting a call too with no messages. If I don't know the number, I am not answering, and it's my cell, so I am not going to use my minutes on them. They call anywhere from 8:30 am - 8:45 pm. It is ridiculous! Good luck :)
